Here they are...
1️⃣ First, it’s about RELEVANCE.
Google wants to return relevant results for a search.
So to help your business show up, make sure you have the right categories in your Google My Business listing.
Be as specific as possible.
2️⃣ Second, it’s about PROXIMITY.
This is all about how close your business is to someone who’s searching.
Increase your chances of showing up by making sure your business name, address and phone number are shown on your website, and the cities and towns you serve are selected on your Google My Business listing.
3️⃣ Third, it’s about PROMINENCE.
Google says this is how well-known your business is.
It helps to have mentions in articles and blog posts, and listings in local directories.
And those are the 3 most important SEO tips for your small business.

Here are 3 tips to getting more powerful customer testimonials for your business.
It’s no secret that reviews and testimonials from real customers are valuable.
But if you can get a video testimonial from one of your customers, it can be a very effective marketing tool for your business to reach new customers.
So here are a few things to keep in mind.
Tip #1: Consistently plant “referral seeds” with your clients.
Remember as soon as you have a happy client, that’s when they’re most likely to give you a great testimonial.
So talk about getting their testimonial when they’re the happiest, and when their excitement about working with you is the highest.
And send out emails each month reminding your clients that you’d love to showcase the results they’re getting with you.
Tip #2: Record an informal “selfie interview” with your client.
Your clients might be camera shy, so to get an effective testimonial video, keep it casual, and ask them just 3 questions.
Sit down with your client somewhere inside your business, and make sure you’re facing a natural light source like a window.
If you can’t be together, hop on a Zoom call or Facebook Messenger video call and record it.
Tip #3: Use my script.
Ask them these 3 questions
• What prompted you to connect with us at first? (Find the pain point that motivated them to reach out)
• How have things changed for you since working with us?
• If you were to recommend us to your best friend, what would you say?
