Commitment
What of commitment
The pledge of everlasting
No matter what?
But things change
or appear no as they were,
the sand shifts
the walls crumble
And so too your stone feet
Your stone feet of commitment.

Poetry: First Hour by Sharon Olds

The "Lone Wolf" does not feel he can survive in the established parties: Democratic, Republican, or Trumpian. The same is true about much of life, so here, I talk about whatever I want to talk about.

I'm a writer, poet, & engineer. I am a moderate registered in the Green Party, partly to protest against the lack of purpose in our two established parties. See youtube.com/@AncientTexan. Welcome, Lone Wolf.

I find the policies of the Green Party well-intended but naive. I promote a Green In My Back Yard philosophy, #GIMBY.
