Ritchie Munro is a classy footballer and an even classier guy.
I caught up with this gent, (one of the key players for charity football team Glasgow Saints F.C.) to chat about his background as an amateur footballer in Scotland, his outlook on the beautiful game and a crazy party that ended up with a 10 year stay and some international caps in South East Asia!

Dan Stevenson is one of the hardest working guys in music that I know of.
Touring from an early age, Dan is best known for his guitar heroics in "Sonic Terror" acts Frontierer & Sectioned, his management & booking work for his company "Global City Music Management" & his most recent project "Lift", an electronic, experimental & ambient use of keys, guitars, pedals & pads to make a beautiful new record which he used to pour his focus into when he suffered a heavy personal loss.
I hope you enjoy this conversation, check out Dan's work in the following places;

Ali McCann is one of the brightest prospects in Scottish football.
I caught up with him off the back of a season where he was a mainstay in the St.Johnstone midfield, winning both the Scottish and League cups, achieving a top half finish and gaining international recognition (and his first goal) for Northern Ireland.

Jawn also wrote for and played guitar in Glasgow's 'The Recovery!', a metal-core act packed to the brim with riffs and known for their tight, energetic and fast-paced live shows.
I caught up with Jawn to talk over a range of subjects including the supernatural, conspiracy theories, his sobriety and systematic oppression in today's society.

Today’s episode is a little different…
We Came From Wolves have been making music for a decade this year, but due to the issues of the pandemic, and like so many others, have been unable to create any income from touring or new releases for over a year.
Last year was meant to be the year we recorded and released our long-awaited follow up to our 2015 debut album, however due to the aforementioned, have been sidelined and even with restrictions starting to ease, the music industry & touring community is gonna be sidelined for a long time to come for bands playing in smaller venues like ourselves. Enter “Lune”.
“Lune” is the first ever vinyl release from our band, something fans of WCFW have asked us for years. The record will comprise of 8 songs which we always felt belonged together, 5 from our “Haunt Me” EP and the last 3 singles we released, which were never given the proper physical release they deserved.
These songs are our best work to date, they discuss very hard times both for me personally, my brothers in the band, and those close to us. Mental health, loss, anxiety…to name just a few subjects, are consistent themes throughout these songs and are a lot of the reasons I created this podcast as an extension of my writing, to explore these feelings, give them room to breathe, share experiences with others and ensure they never get to heavy to handle.
We jumped on a live call on FB & Youtube on Saturday night, to discuss this release, the beautifully put together packaging, artwork and photography, and to listen to each of the songs discussing in detail their inspiration and the process for writing/recording them. It’s a long podcast, around 2 hours 40, but with the 8 songs in there, can easily be split up into different parts.
We are releasing just 250 of these vinyls and once they are gone, they are gone. We’ve been working hard behind the scenes writing over 50 demos which have been whittled down to just 17 that we’ll be taking into the studio with previous guest, producer Neil Kennedy, but literally cannot book this until we hit our target, so check out the songs, hear the stories behind them and if you want to get involved, head to www.wecamefromwolves.bigcartel.com to grab one of these super limited edition records.
You can also grab the record, and associated Amo Collective merchandise from www.theamocollective.bigcartel.com
Follow We Came From Wolves on our links below and please subscribe to the channel and share what you can from the podcast and WCFW as we try and spread the message of this release to reduce the damage Covid19 dealt to our industry and try to recover in the best way possible, by raising funds to create our best record to date!
Follow We Came From Wolves on Spotify, Youtube, Facebook & on Instagram
Normal service for the podcast resumes next Monday with more great one to one conversations coming your way!

Phil Robins is one of my closest friends. His outlook on life, positivity & respect for all those he meets is infectious and someone I aspire to learn from with every conversation.
It's important to have friends that you can talk to about anything with and he certainly fits that bill, we regularly discuss topics of concern, personal vulnerabilities and opinions on everything from politics to human rights.
When setting up this podcast I wanted it to be a mixture of guests who I admired due to their story or achievements in their field and of people who I admire, respect and am lucky enough to know.
Nothing to sell, no socials to tag or business to promote, Phil is just a guy I respect massively and want to use this platform to introduce more of the people i'm blessed to have in my life, to those who may not be so lucky.
