Today's Episode features coach Brian Woodbury. Founder and head coach for slingshot throws. He started slingshot throws in 2017 and ever since has torn up the record books all across the east coast and especially in New England. He is the coach behind Aidan felty and Matt Brady 2 New England champions and record holders. Aidan also won the indoor national title in the shotput. Not to mention this year 61+ footer josh Bradford. Brian says he is nothing without his athletes but that is just a testament to how hard-working his kids are and how he has built a community of kids who want to win and get better.  

Today's episode features one of the greatest American shotputters of all time. Ryan Whiting was the former NCAA shotput record holder who won plenty of championships for Arizona state university sun devils. Ryan then went on to compete as a professional and win 2 world championships and was on an Olympic team one specific achievement that he is most proud of is never missing a Final in his career a very impressive feat.
