Exactly What I said - I am restarting this show with the added perspective of the last few months. I believe that homelessness is impacting the autistic community at a disproportionate rate. We, autistic people, represent ~3.5% of the general population - I am hypothesizing that more than 50% of the systemically or chronically homeless population in the United States is on the autism spectrum. If this is the case - it is a tragic reality that presents within it an interesting opportunity. If we were to orientate homeless services around autistic adults we would more effectively serve the entire populations at large.
