John Nichol is an author, broadcaster and former RAF navigator best known for his book Tornado Down, his account of being a prisoner of war under Saddam Hussein during the Gulf war. John is joining Aerobility to talk about the Tornado and his new book Tornado - in the eye of the storm. The book tells the story of the RAF Tornado force and their families during the Gulf war.

You may have seen Liz McConaghy on your screens as the roving reporter for Aerobility's Armchair Airshow 2021. Now Liz is making her Inspire-Ability debut!  Before joining Aerobility in 2019, Liz spent 18 years in the Royal Airforce as a Chinook crewman. Brian Wheeler is a Trustee at Aerobility and, having joined the RAF as an Air Traffic Controler in 1992, Brian is now a senior manager at NATS.   In 2018 Brian suffered a life changing spinal cord injury which put his active lifestyle and career on hold. Having been told that he may never walk again, listen in amazment as Brian regales us with stories of how he has proved the doctors wrong and continues to do so.

Co-host of The Last Leg for C4 & Host of the Paralympics, join us for some laughs, jokes and crazy anecdotes as Alex chats to us about how disability has changed both his life and his career. Alex first hit our screens in 2011, presenting the BT Paralympic World Cup after successfully auditioning for Channel 4’s Half Million Quid Talent Search to find new disabled talent for the 2012 Paralympics. Since then, Alex has co-hosted the award-winning show The Last Leg, fronted documentaries about disability and male body image including Disability and Me and has featured on panel shows including 8 Out of 10 Cats and Never Mind The Buzzcocks.

Stuart Beech is a pilot on British Airway's A380 and has featured on Michael Mcintyre's Big Show as the Singing Pilot. Karen Bath brings a wealth of knowledge in airline pilot training. Together they founded Resilient Pilot, an organisation which aims to improve pilot's wellbeing and promote diversity within the airline industry.

Andrew is a former Royal Navy Sea Harrier pilot operating, Flight Deck Wingman’s founder Andrew, made a successful transition into the world of commercial aviation in 2006, operating the B757/767 and A320/321/330 with a well known charter airline, before joining a major UK scheduled airline as a B787 pilot in 2015.

Mandy was the second-ever woman to fly the RAF Tornado, seeing over 40 combat missions over Iraq during her career. She is now an author and motivational speaker with a particular interest in inspiring and supporting women with her story.

Captain Tim Orchard is an ex-Concorde Captain and jointly holds the Concorde World Record time for the journey from New York to London. Tim is an extremely experienced pilot and is someone for the younger generation to aspire to be!

Tracey, aka The Aviatrix, is a British Aviator, explorer and inspirational speaker. She has led expeditions flying from the UK to South Africa, Australia and the USA all from the back of her Boeing Stearman.
