Recoil Management: A Review of Meat-Eater's 3 best youth (or recoil sensitive individual) cartridges
In this episode, I delve into a Meat-Eater Article naming the 22 LR, 243 Winchester, and the 6.5 Creedmoor as the best cartridges to get youth into hunting. Is the author right to pick these three as the best for bringing new individuals into the sport whom may be recoil sensitive? Is there other means to get great limited recoil ammunition for larger rifles or cartridges that would not be considered "beginners" cartridges? What is needed for the cartridge to be effective at taking game ethically?
I also take a look into other means of managing recoil and tech/parts that can make the experience better for someone who has never dealt with a firearm in terms of felt recoil.
Other musings included.
