Making time management actually work for you featuring Kristen Van Horn
Kristen Van Horn is a time management coach for moms in business. Her mission is to help moms in business prioritize their time and tasks so they can focus on the things that are most important to them in their life and business.Kristen lives in the suburbs of St. Louis, Missouri with her husband and 2 children. She starts every morning with a run and coffee, and looks forward to their weekly Family Movie Nights, including pizza and craft beer.TAKEAWAYS:+ Time management is a skill that you have to learn. As someone who is managing a business, a home, a family, mastering time management can be the difference between you hitting your goals, and you failing month after month. + If you find that your to-do list is too long every week and it overwhelms the life out of you, try doing a to-do list dump at the beginning of the week. Write down everything you need to do, so that you are able to, with a level head, what needs to get done, instead of the “shoulds” that we all face every week.+ When determining the order of importance for tasks on your to do list look at deadlines first. Then once you know the deadlines, put your tasks in order of intentionality and when is the best time for you to accomplish this task, and then schedule it in your calendar or day. + If you’re continually not getting everything checked off your to-do list, it’s probably because you’re not assigning enough time to get tasks done. Do a time audit to map out how long it takes to do tasks.Visit the links below to learn more about: + resources for this episode+ how to connect with Kristen+ the application for an In-Person VIP Day with Allison+ how to get a FREE week of coaching with Allison in the DMsRESOURCES:Visit the blog post associated with this podcast episode: http://www.allisonhardy.com/blog1/episode288Connect with Kristen via her website: www.kristenvanhorn.comFollow Kristen on Instagram and send her a DM! https://www.instagram.com/kristenvanhorn_Download the Focus Keeper App: https://focuskeeper.co/Apply for an In-Person VIP Day with Allison: https://forms.gle/nBKtDaErXxJpvXwY7Learn more about the 6-Figure Mompreneur Method and how it can introduce a 6-figure passive income stream into your online coaching business: http://www.allisonhardy.com/6figuremompreneurmethodSnag a week of FREE coaching with Allison in the DMs! 4 things that are giving me life this Summer
It’s mid-Summer Break here in the Hardy house and this Summer has been the most fun, present, and profitable Summer I’ve ever had. And it’s not because anything is necessarily brand new. It’s that I’m different. When Camden (my almost 9 year old) declared that he didn’t want to spend his Summer at camps, we had to regroup, shift, and change a couple of things to accommodate his request. And so that regroup, shift, and change began with me and how I decided to run my home and business. So in this episode of the 6-Figure Mompreneur Podcast I’m sharing:+ the nitty gritty deatils on how these 4 things are supporting me in my life and business this Summer+ why I chose these 4 things as the vehicles to hitting my goals+ the results I’ve seen from these 4 things and how you can create those results for your life and business tooVisit the links below to learn more about: + resources for this episode+ the application for an In-Person VIP Day with Allison+ how to get a FREE week of coaching with Allison in the DMsRESOURCES:Visit the blog post associated with this podcast episode: http://www.allisonhardy.com/blog1/episode287Apply for an In-Person VIP Day with Allison: https://forms.gle/nBKtDaErXxJpvXwY7Learn more about the 6-Figure Mompreneur Method and how it can introduce a 6-figure passive income stream into your online coaching business: http://www.allisonhardy.com/6figuremompreneurmethodSnag a week of FREE coaching with Allison in the DMs! How to build authority through Instagram Reels
We all know that if you want to get more eyes on your Instagram content, you need to create Instagram Reels. But despite doing “all the right things” on Instagram, do you still have a hard time selling your products or services? It’s because as business owners using Instagram to build an ideal audience, it doesn’t matter how many people see your content. What matters is that the right people are seeing your content, and your content is establishing you as an authority in your industry. While trends and viral sounds are fun to re-create and utilize, when the right people see the right message, the “know, like, trust” factor happens and it happens fast! Turning your Instagram account into an organic lead generator. So how do you do this? Authority-building Reels. In this episode of the 6-Figure Mompreneur Podcast I’m sharing:+ how you can build authority through simple, face-to-camera Reels+ how these types of Reels are different from the type of content you’ve seen on Instagram Reels+ and how to utilize these types of Reels to generate leads organically on InstagramVisit the links below to learn more about: + resources for this episode+ Reels Authority, Allison’s brand new digital product that can help you to create simple Instagram Reels that sell your products and services+ how to get a FREE week of coaching with Allison in the DMsRESOURCES:Visit the blog post associated with this podcast episode: http://www.allisonhardy.com/blog1/episode285Learn more about Allison’s brand new digital product, Reels Authority, and how it can help you create simple Instagram Reels that sell your products and services: http://www.allisonhardy.com/reelauthorityLearn more about the 6-Figure Mompreneur Method and how it can introduce a 6-figure passive income stream into your online coaching business: http://www.allisonhardy.com/6figuremompreneurmethodSnag a week of FREE coaching with Allison in the DMs! Mange your wellness to grow your business featuring Robin Rhine McDonald
Robin Rhine McDonald is a Holistic Health Coach with a passion for supporting women to have the energy and vitality to live out their unique calling. She loves to help women ditch chronic dieting and disease for holistic health and wellness. She mixes spirituality with her study of integrative nutrition to create a grace-based approach to nutrition and lifestyle that breaks shame-cycles and creates freedom, confidence, and ultimately, sustainable results.TAKEAWAYS:+ When it comes to making time for our wellness and energy levels Robin notices that many mompreneurs know it needs to be a priority, but many do not actually make it a priority. The actual prioritization doesn’t happen. The way you make it a priority is starting to take action consistently, even when it’s hard, you’re not seeing results, and it’s uncomfortable. Small action, when implemented over time, produces results. + A lot of times women don’t hit their wellness goals because they aren’t connected to them. Superficial goals like “losing 10 pounds” doesn’t tie any reason to the goal. So the habits to get to the goal are perceived as hindrances. If you have a goal of doing a day hike with your 10 year old and not feeling exhausted, losing 10 pounds now has a reason and a purpose, making the habits that need to be established to hit that, much more likely to stick.+ If you’re telling yourself that you can’t take care of yourself, because you need to serve others first, a mindset shift needs to happen. A lot of heart-centered entrepreneurs think that serving others comes at a sacrifice of themselves. When the reality is that in order to serve others well and in ways that they need and deserve, you need to first serve yourself. Putting your health on the back-burner makes it so that your output isn’t what you need it to be in order to accomplish your mission.Visit the links below to learn more about: + resources for this episode+ how to connect with Robin and watch her Masterclass+ how to introduce a 6-figure passive income stream into your coaching business through the 6-Figure Mompreneuer Method+ how to get a FREE week of coaching with Allison in the DMsRESOURCES:Visit the blog post associated with this podcast episode: http://www.allisonhardy.com/blog1/episode284Watch Robin’s Masterclass, “How to prioritize your health amidst the chaos without added stress”: You can find it here: www.madewellhealth.com/priorityLearn more about the 6-Figure Mompreneur Method and how it can introduce a 6-figure passive income stream into your online coaching business: http://www.allisonhardy.com/6figuremompreneurmethodSnag a week of FREE coaching with Allison in the DMs! Tracking your email’s open rates is a piece of data every online entrepreneur should do, and continually work on improving. Why? Because small hinges swing big doors.Meaning, you can increase eyes on your content with small, subtle changes. When you can increase your open rates it means more people open and consume your email. And, energetically, if you’re going to be spending time on email marketing, don’t you want it to count? So in this week’s 6-Figure Mompreneuer Podcast I’m diving into three ways that you can increase your email open rates.Visit the links below to learn more about: + resources for this episode+ how to introduce a 6-figure passive income stream into your coaching business through the 6-Figure Mompreneuer Method+ how to get a FREE week of coaching with Allison in the DMsRESOURCES:Visit the blog post associated with this podcast episode: http://www.allisonhardy.com/blog1/episode283Learn more about the 6-Figure Mompreneur Method and how it can introduce a 6-figure passive income stream into your online coaching business: http://www.allisonhardy.com/6figuremompreneurmethodSnag a week of FREE coaching with Allison in the DMs! Building a movement and a community around your brand featuring Mallika Malhotra
Mallika Malhotra is The Brand CEO, an award-winning branding expert, confidence-stirring mentor, dynamic speaker, and author. For years, she worked in corporate advertising on big brands like L’Oreal, Oil of Olay, and Hidden Valley Ranch. Now she helps women entrepreneurs master their message, stand out in their crowded market, and develop brands that are magnetic, memorable and money-making. Her friends and clients call her the brand energizer because she is a strong believer in getting out of your comfort zone, taking action and implementing ideas. When she's not building brands, she's at home in Maine with her three sons and husband, drinking coffee or red wine and dreaming about their next global adventure.TAKEAWAYS:+ Branding is the reputation you have with your audience. It’s the words they use about your business when you’re not in the room. + Branding isn’t your logo, your colors, your fonts, your website, or your social media. They are expressions and demonstrations of your brand.+ In a noisy marketplace, a brand is important because it increases the perceived value that you have. When you are clear with who you are and what you stand for, it makes the right people come to you, and they are excited to spend money with you. Which gives you a lot of pricing power! + When you have strong values, it makes it easier to create a community. And when you can create a community around your values, it creates loyal followers and clients. People want to align themselves with people who think, feel, and act similarly to how they do, so when you can offer that up, it makes your business about more than just your products or services.Visit the links below to learn more about: + resources for this episode+ how to introduce a 6-figure passive income stream into your coaching business through the 6-Figure Mompreneuer Method+ how to get a FREE week of coaching with Allison in the DMsRESOURCES:Visit the blog post associated with this podcast episode: http://www.allisonhardy.com/blog1/episode282Connect with Mallika on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/mallikamalhotra.co/Learn more about the 6-Figure Mompreneur Method and how it can introduce a 6-figure passive income stream into your online coaching business: http://www.allisonhardy.com/6figuremompreneurmethodSnag a week of FREE coaching with Allison in the DMs! How to create a morning routine as a busy mompreneur [Summer Break-Proof Your Business]
Before you roll your eyes at the topic of this episode and say, “I’m busy, I don’t have time for a morning routine!” hold the phone. I’m not about to share with you a morning routine that will require 3 hours from you each morning. No one has time for that! Especially during the Summer when kids are home and your schedule is unpredictable.A morning routine can fast track your success in your business and at home, by helping you to see the bigger picture, attracting more of what is working into your life, and help you to set intentions in how you want to live your life, raise your kids, and run your business. In short, a morning routine puts gasoline on the fire that is already burning inside of you and helps you to see the next logical steps for you, based on your goals. So in this episode of the 6-Figure Mompreneur Podcast I’m sharing: + tools you’ll need to make a morning routine a success for you as a busy mompreneur+ why a morning routine can actually serve you and help you to get to your goals, faster+ my morning routine framework and how you can make it your ownVisit the links below to learn more about: + resources for this episode+ how to learn more about the 6-Figure Mompreneuer Method+ connecting with Allison and the 6-Figure Mompreneur movementRESOURCES: To find the blog post that accompanies this episode visit: http://www.allisonhardy.com/blog1/episode280In the episode Allison references another episode about writing down your goals as if you’ve already accomplished them, you can find it here:http://www.allisonhardy.com/blog1/episode256Learn more about the 6-Figure Mompreneur Method and how it can help you scale your online coaching business: http://www.allisonhardy.com/6figuremompreneurmethodCONNECT WITH ALLISON:Follow Allison on Instagram: www.instagram.com/allison_hardy_Join the 6-Figure Mompreneur Facebook Group: www.facebook.com/groups/themompreneurcommunityARE YOU A FAN OF THE PODCAST?If you found value from today’s episode, head to iTunes and spread some love through giving the podcast a rating and a review. How to honor your season of life in your business [Summer Break-Proof Your Business]
Our season of life determines A LOT in terms of how we run our business.I find that a lot of mompreneurs feel guilty or frustrated about how they work because they are comparing themselves to someone else who they see or know on the internet, who is in a very different season of life, have a different support network, and/or a different business model. Honoring your season means that your business fits into your life, not vice versa. Because your business has to actually work for you. If it doesn’t work for you it won’t work for anyone else.So when examining your business and mashing it up with your season of life, it’s important that you’re able to differentiate the “shoulds” from the “needs”. In this episode of the 6-Figure Mompreneur Podcast I’m sharing: + the four areas of your business that need to shift whenever you have a change in season+ factors to think about to land on a method or business model that work better for you during that season+ how to know if what you’re doing is a “should” or a needVisit the links below to learn more about: + resources for this episode+ how to learn more about the 6-Figure Mompreneuer Method+ connecting with Allison and the 6-Figure Mompreneur movementRESOURCES: To find the blog post that accompanies this episode visit: http://www.allisonhardy.com/blog1/episode279In the episode Allison references another episode about time and guilt, you can find it here:http://www.allisonhardy.com/blog1/episode276 Learn more about the 6-Figure Mompreneur Method: http://www.allisonhardy.com/6figuremompreneurmethodCONNECT WITH ALLISON:Follow Allison on Instagram: www.instagram.com/allison_hardy_Join the 6-Figure Mompreneur Facebook Group: www.facebook.com/groups/themompreneurcommunityARE YOU A FAN OF THE PODCAST?If you found value from today’s episode, head to iTunes and spread some love through giving the podcast a rating and a review.
