We've heard the phrase dozens, maybe hundreds, of times - "it is finished" or "the finished work of Christ." Jesus said it on the cross. We are encouraged to rest in this finished work. What was finished, though? Was Jesus saying His mission on earth was finished? Was His plan to make a way for us to Heaven finished? Did He finish His teaching? Yes! But those were only part of it! There is so much more to "it is finished" than we may realize - and we found lots of it!
