Ep.3 Triple Threat
Democracy, already on the slide worldwide, is under further threats. A democratically elected leader - Aung Sun Suu Kyi has been toppled by military autocrats and put under house arrest upon false charges. Navalny, a democratic activist, has been sentenced to more than 2 years in a penal colony. Somalia struggles to battle state autonomy and a flawed system whilst at the same time fighting Islamic fundamentalists. Is democracy in its dying days?

Ep.2 Meme Populism
This was a crazy week - memes have had real-world impacts. This time, thankfully, for the better giving market manipulating hedge funds the short end of the stick. On a darker note, opposition leader Alexei Navalny has been arrested upon touching down on Russian soil upon orders from the authoritarian dictator Putin. How long will the peoples patience for corruption last? The turnout at protests all over Russia has been enthusiastic and high even in the cold of Siberia. We also touch upon a potential vaccine supply issue due to the EU's heavy-handed deals with AstraZeneca over mainland vaccine supply.

Ep.1 Han-cocked up!
Joe Biden is inaugurated as president of the United States and surprisingly remembers the majority of the words in his speech of unity. Gavin gives the British population newly found hope in this period of uncertainty - by giving us 2 weeks notice for schools reopening and not much else. In addition to this lockdown is looking grim, with no certainty as to whether it will end or be prolonged for longer. All good news in 2021, thanks a lot to the new year!
