Kurtis and Bernie are back, so sorry about that. We talk about the Bahrain GP because that’s the race that took place this weekend, so it would have been odd to talk about a different one. Winners, losers, Alex Albon talk, the usual.

First sprint race weekend of the year, little bit of weird weather, little bit of crashing Ferraris on their home turf. An interesting weekend overall, with the race itself maybe being the least interesting bit. We talk sprint qualifying in general, how to fix F1 (worse brakes!), and you know...the regular stuff.

Australia was good. Not great, not bad. Good, solid race. Ferrari has some pace, eh? And if Max Verstappen didn't have bad luck he would have no luck at all. More importantly though, Bernie gets to talk extensively about Alex Albon, which we know is why you guys are all here.

Here it is, technically the first episode of Stalled Aero, but its really just the same old 107% you've come to know and tolerate. A hot mess of a weekend, we talk about the missile attacks before the race, Mick's giant shunt, the race result...and somehow we spend like 4x as much time on the Stroll/Albon incident than we do on Max's race winning pass, because that's just what we do here.

F1 is back, yes boys! After a frankly exhausting offseason of safety car rules, Fraudstappen and Fraudmilton, and everything except the racing that we all love, Formula 1 is back with an absolute banger of a first round in Bahrain. Kurtis and Bernie talk about the pace of Ferrari, Mercedes being there to pick up Red Bull's pieces, Alexander Albon, and all thing Haas. The Haasterclass. The Renhaasance. Kevin Backnussen and Guenther 5teiner, who today is probably fine with Kevin smashing any door he wants.

Its been a little over two months since the events of Abu Dhabi 2021, and we wanted to revisit it to see if we felt any differently now given the things we've learned since. We also react to the cars that have been launched at the time of recording, and the news of Michael Andretti trying to start his own new F1 team dropped literally minutes before we started recording. 

Well, that was something in Abu Dhabi, wasn't it? Right from the first turn it seemed this was going to be an FIA affair, and so it turned out to be. I think we skip over qualifying almost entirely in this one and just get right into it, which seemed to be the thing to do. If you enjoyed us bashing the FIA last week, you'll love this episode. We collectively had zero experience when we started and now we have almost no experience at all, but we had a lot of fun and some people did actually listen, for which we're grateful. Saudi Arabia provided chaos. I think we all thought the track might do that, being the second fastest and second narrowest track on the calendar, but even by the lofty standards we may have expected, this was chaos. FIA incompetence, brake checking, incomplete communication, and we got heart breakingly close to another Esteban Ocon podium (fun fact: Ocon has led more laps this year than anybody not named Hamilton or Verstappen). Kurtis and Bernie talk it out, rant about the FIA, and make a prediction for next week. 

I'm told by reliable sources that there was in fact a race this weekend. Now personally, as a Max Verstappen fan, it pains me to think that I missed a race where he obviously won by quite a bit. Can somebody tell me how much he won by? Anyway we talk about Brazil, Lewis' GOATness, and an excellent pass by Nikita Mazepin.

Even if the race this last weekend wasn't exactly a barn burner, the weekend itself was pretty compelling. From Christian Horner throwing Yuki under the bus and then wondering why everybody was talking about it, to Mercedes' one lap pace, to Max with an almighty send down the outside of turn one, Mexico provided us a lot to talk about. And of course, Checo on the podium in his home country was pretty fun, too. We talk about the race, what else is going on, Alex Albon because we're contractually obligated to, and more.
