In this podcast episode, I discuss my personal experience of dealing with chronic pain in my hip for the last year. I discuss how fear of has prevented me from getting help until recently. The pain is not only affecting my professional life as a fitness professional, but personally with my workouts, sleeping and pretty much everything else at this point. After an x-ray today and scheduled for my first MRI ever in the next week with the possibly of surgical intervention is very scary to me. Hopefully all of this will lead to being pain free eventually. Chronic pain is detrimental to your physical and mental health, so don't let fear stop you from get the professional help you need.

We also go over the difficulty of dealing with learning dance on zoom over the last 2 years and the determination to continue dancing despite this. We discuss how being sick throughout the month of February 2022 almost prevented her from participating in a very busy St. Patrick's Day performance and parade season this year. She discusses a valuable lesson learned about fitness and health through hydration, eating healthy and taking her supplements while recovering from illness and regaining her strength to dance.
