This is my favorite thing to listen to ever! When I first found this podcast I stopped listening to music all together. There is not a single episode that I found boring! I listened to every episode in about 3 months and im doing it again! 10/10

Great podcast that helps me during the long days

I love this show. Been listening for about a year and a half now. Went backwards, got convicted in my heart, turned my life around and started over from the beginning. After about a year I’m in the early 400’s. Anyway! Thought you would appreciate the fact that I dropped part of my electric razor in the toilet tonight, and then threw the whole thing away… why? Because it doesn’t belong on my face anymore. It belongs either in the toilet now or in the trash.. Rule of the show. And! I don’t eat out of afterbirth potato salad bowls (as far as I know)…. Hey James and John! I absolutely love this podcast and would 100% recommend it to literally anyone. It’s the perfect mix of meaningless talking and hilarious stories. My attention span absolutely sucks and this is one of the few podcasts that I could listen to for hours. I especially love this podcast because I have the sense of humor similar to that of an old man, despite being a teenager. I often end up laughing at every joke you guys tell, no matter how corny or bad it is. I have been listening to this podcast since 2021, these old farts are funny and they compliment the funny stories perfectly. The only reason I am doing a 4 star review is because some things they say aren’t “family Friendly” sometimes.

James Kennison and John Steinklauber are the funniest James Kennison and John Steinklauber I know, and that’s saying a lot because I know multiple James Kennisons and John Steinklauberses. But seriously, if you hate to laugh then you’ll absolutely despise this show because you won’t be able to keep control of yourself while listening. The laughter will start deep inside your belly, make its way up your esophagus, and be out your mouth before you even know what happened. Just a warning to all those non-laughers out there. But if you do love to laugh, by all means, do yourself a favor and listen, listen, listen!

i’ve been listening for about a year and haven’t stopped, i can’t! I hope to “grow up” with this show and love it as I get older. I’ve been listening to this podcast since episode 114, and I still look forward to a new episode in my feed. I’ve always preferred clean comedy that’s still got a little bit of an edge. James and John fit that to a tee. My boys always enjoyed listening to the episodes on our way to scout meetings when they were kids. They’re both grown and out of the house now, but we still enjoy referring to some of our favorite stories from over the years.

I’m 22 so I’m an old man compared to what seems to be the general audience of this podcast. But James and John’s humor kills me. James is always saying the most out of pocket edgy stuff. It’s not what you would expect from a former children pastor. It’s just the right amount of edgyness that doesn’t go over the line but is absolutely hilarious. John cracks me up because of how relatable a lot of what he says is. This one episode he was talking about saying something stupid. And then in the car ride home replaying the conversation out loud the whole way home. That had me dying because I’ve done that on more than one occasion. Keep up the great work, I’m glad to seem you guys come back after such a long break.

I’ve listened to this podcast for over a decade! It’s dumb silly fun. It’s fun to hear people’s stories with commentary by James and John. There are many inside jokes. It’s like being around old friends. I wish I could give you a nickel, a dime, a quarter and a penny because you deserve a lot of cash! So sad we haven’t made it to NathexCon—yet! (We did arrange to go in 2020 but, you know…) Thanks for being around for so long!

Y’all, I LOVE this podcast. I WAS one of the weird ones though.. yes, I started from the most recent and worked my way back.. that is, until I was somewhere in the lower 300’s and John said doing this was like watching The Office backwards. This gave me a new perspective and made me turn my life around hallelu-JAH! I’ve made it to episode 30 of nobody’s listening within the last 7 days of going to the beginning and I love listening to David and Aimee (spelled it right) on the show. This podcast is the best! Haven’t found a better comedy podcast. When I listened to the rat story, I immediately thought that I would pick that rat right up! I used to have pet rats and they weren’t gross or dirty, they were very cute! They are very clean, too, they clean themselves just like cats do. Also, they look like a cross between a hamster and a ferret! I hope you reconsider insulting that chick fil a rat. /j

I have been listening to you guys for over 2 years now. I discovered the show while going on a road trip with my kids. I was looking for something for them to enjoy. Now I the one listening the most since I travel a lot by myself. I even listen when I work out. One day, I was listening to you guys while on the bench press back in May. James made a funny comment and I started laughing. I didn’t have a spotter, and almost dropped the bar on my chest. Love the show and I follow you guys on Twitter. PS: by the way, I did the opposite. I moved from Missouri to Florida. The souther you go, the worst the drivers are except St. Louis drivers. They’re the worst.

This show has made me feel at home in a wonderful community and now 19 years of podcasting. James Kennison and John Steinklauber are the best people possible for this kind of podcast, and the fact that these two people happened to become host and co-host is perfect. I have been listening for 6 months and am approaching the 400th episode, all of them worth my time. I would suggest this podcast to anyone over the age of 10. If you’re not sure, give it a shot. But start at episode 1 and listen up for sure.Its the best way to listen to that story show. Love y’all! (Not in a weird way!!!)
