Bob and Kelly do a great job of balancing the desire to be in a relationship with the JOY of Christian singleness. If I could sum up this podcast in one quote it would be: “Let not our longing slay the appetite of our living” (Jim Elliot). Praying this would be an encouragement to your heart and a reminder that the abundant life Christ promises us is available to everyone … including singles!! 2 Cor 13:14

I didn’t realize I needed this podcast. I’m so grateful these two are using their gifts and talents to glorify the lord. Having not just knowledge they share of dating as a strong believer but hearing them have shared experiences and questions (and answering others questions) of things I constantly think about but never vocalize them (isn’t that the enemy isolating or what). The things that really have made a massive impression so far as I dive into these is defining dating and what a first date is (as well as discussing ’biblical dating’ and what characteristics the Bible says we need to uphold - and that’s what we need to live out and look for as an example as we date). Furthermore, the most recent episode discussing ‘missionary dating’ really hit home for me, and that it’s so easy to think we need to save someone, because we care about them, but we need to leave the saving to the savior. It hit home. IF YOU ARE A BELIEVER AND NOT MARRIED YOU NEED TO LISTEN TO THESE!

Love this podcast because it’s not about getting out of our singleness but experiencing what God has for us while we are single. Some have been called to singleness and that’s the best avenue for them. I personally am 52 and never been married. Thankful for all of these guests who have spoken into my life to enjoy these days of singleness.

Listening to Bob and Kelly felt like sitting in my co-ed small group! You get a really cool view into their hearts, and their love for the Lord. I’ll be back to listen more!

I loved the interview with Jonathan Pitts. His story is incredible. I had purchased the book You’re God’s Girl by Wynter Pitts, some time ago. This book was very special. I read the book with my daughter. It was a special time that I spent with her. I want say thank you Jonathan for the life that you wife lived. Her love and values overflowed from her ministry to her book into our lives. Thank you for carrying her memory on by allowing the Lord to move through you to share your story. May the father continue to use you for his kingdom.
