Episode 7: Human Design Book Review: Hello Stranger by Katherine Center
In this episode, I follow the sacral pull to talk about my perspective on a book I just finished reading, Hello Stranger by Katherine Center, through the lens of human design. The interesting thing about all of our human designs is that we all have very unique ways of processing information, of viewing the world, and of relating to the world through our bodies. That’s why I’m so excited to open a window into my own perspective based on my design, so that you can learn more about human design, and more about me! I’m thinking this will probably be the first of many episodes where I’m talking about books that I’ve read and sharing with you the human design elements through my perspective, so if you love this episode theme and want more, please let me know! I’m also playing around with the idea of bringing on a couple of people with different designs in mind in order to talk about books that we read together, almost like a book club. So if you’re listening and you’re interested in joining me for that, send me a message! Thanks for tuning in, and I hope you enjoy the episode! P.S. Episode 4: My Personal Burnout Story
My history with burnout and healing myself from burnout is somewhat of an origin story to how I became a coach, how I found myself entangled in the human design experiment, how I began to stimulate my own self-trust muscle, engaging myself within my embodied leadership and my embodied pleasure, and began to teach other people how they could do the same. That’s why, in today’s episode, we will be talking about just that. This conversation about burnout is so important for me to have with you, not only so you know who I am and where I’ve come from, but also so that if you’re feeling like any of this applies to you, that you know that you’re not alone, you know that there are people that have come out the other side, and you also know that you have a resource, someone to reach out to help you in whatever way I can.So without further ado, let’s dive into today’s episode! Trigger Warning: This episode discusses depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, the physical/ mental/ emotional symptoms of  burnout, trauma and vicarious trauma, working with sexual assault survivors, moving through the medical field, working in the criminal justice system among other topics. Please refer to this Helpline Resource that will help connect you to specialized support if you feel you need it. P.S. Episode 2: My Human Design Experiment…So Far
As you may know, human design has such a big place in my heart. It feels like a system that is validating to who I am and how I naturally move through the world. With that in mind, I would be remiss to not have a full episode dedicated to my journey with human design thus far. Today’s episode will take you from the version of me who had no idea what human design was, into the weaving and winding story of how I found my way to be the person that I am today, a version of myself that embodies my human design and works within my human design experiment each and every day and interweaves it into the work that I bring into the world. If you feel called to, not only would I love to hear how this episode landed for you, but I'd also love to hear where you're at in your journey, in your experiment with human design in the comments below or by reaching out to me on Instagram @iamdelaneyalexandra. And feel free to share this with a friend if you feel like it would resonate for them!Trigger Warning: This episode discusses working in the sexual assault advocacy field, trauma, vicarious trauma, and burnout. Please refer to this Helpline Resource that will help connect you to specialized support if you feel you need it.–Resources mentioned in this episode: To Be Magnetic Podcast by Lacy PhillipsMy past coach @katelynannemarie_ Vaness Henry - Human Design Expert –Subscribe to That Sacral Mmhm Podcast on SubstackSubscribe to That Sacral Mmhm Podcast on SpotifySubscribe to That Sacral Mmhm Podcast on Apple PodcastsFollow @iamdelaneyalexandra on InstagramFollow @resilientandrising on PinterestVisit my website resilientandrising.com This is a public episode.
