The best used Electric Car ever?
The Nissan Leaf is the world's best-selling electric car, and it's not hard to see why. Offered with either a 40kWh battery for a 168-mile official range or a 62kWh battery for a 239-mile range, it seems there's a version of the likeable and easy-going Leaf to suit every buyer, from the budget-conscious to the high-mileage luxury-seeker.   We've driven both, and consistently achieved 160 miles or more in the 40kWh model that we lived with for six months, while our time in a Leaf e+ suggested 210 miles is easily achievable in varied driving.   The e+ isn't only about longer range, either. It also gets faster charging, with the CHAdeMOport in its nose capable of charging the car at 100kW, delivering a 10-80% top-up (around 130 additional miles of range) in 35 minutes.

Ford Mustang Mach-e LEAKED
The Mach-E will start at $43,895 U.S., before any state or tax incentives are applied (and that turns into $36,395 once you apply the maximum $7,500 federal tax credit). The "Select" trim Mach-E as configured at that price gets you 230 EPA-rated miles of range, either AWD or RWD (which presumably alters the price) and a 0-60MPH time in the mid five-second range.

Elon Musk's announcement that Tesla Inc. will build a factory and a research center near Berlin makes perfect sense as a loud statement. Berlin isn't known as a car city but it does have a vigorous tech scene and Tesla isn't so much a car company as a tech one. But it's also reasonable from other points of view. Musk, who has spent some time deciding on a European factory location, has decided on Gruenheide in Brandenburg, the German state that surrounds Berlin, and the research facility is to be located near Berlin's yet-to-open new international airport.
