One of my most popular episodes is about limitations. Both those placed on us by others and those we place on ourselves. I posited that the way that we adapt to our limitations is what makes us unique and gives us the ability to tdo what we want. On today's show we explore the types of adaptations that we may be called upon to make in order to make things happen. Along the way I've included some personal anecdotes about how I have adapted and continue to do so in order to accomplish things that I and others never thought was possible for me.

We don't exist in a vacuum. There are people in our lives constantly and the ones who are closest to us are the ones that are effected by us the most. On today's episode we are going to look at visual impairment from the perspective of our loved ones or other people that we have relationships with. This is a multi part series and it begins with me talking to my wife.

Technology is poised to open up the world to those with physical challenges and particularly those with visual impairments. One might ask how we can put our trust into a machine with our lives. My response is that we have to put our trust in strangers every day. Let's discuss.

Sometimes when you are visually impaired you can begin to think that the only reason that you got to where you are is because of others. Either they felt sorry for you or cut you a break that they wouldn't have given someone else. You feel like you didn't earn it. Today we talk about the specific type of impostor syndrome inherent with physical challenges and how we combat it.
