This podcast is so gorgeous and introspective, Camille and Faith both bring such a thoughtful and warm presence to all of the subjects and characters they cover and I've found such joy in listening to their points of view. I came upon this show by true chance and while I'm not from Texas I've followed up on each episode with interest and have read the books these hosts have reccomended along with them. Really shocked by the poor reviews others have left, the "lack of energy" some have described is absolutely untrue in my opinion, sorry you're boring and can't pay attention to the smart and funny and well researched episodes these women are providing. I hope this podcast continues and will be waiting patiently for the next installment, whenever it may come.🤍

Low energy
These hosts lack charisma. Their guests are no better. Not a good look for Texas.

Loved that Forrest Bess episode!

Hi from Minnesota
I’ve listened to only a few episodes so far and I’m enjoying it immensely! The way the hosts speak about their state resonates with how I experience Minnesota and I also love comparing and contrasting how the two very different environments evoke similar emotions and when and where that happens for them and I. Came here from Nymphet Alumni and I’m so happy to listen to something that is so deeply in tune with my point of view as well as broadens it. 🤍🤍🤍

Rich material for the imagination
This podcast is weirdly relaxing and somehow also gently expansive, like settling in to a Cosmos episode after a really long day with a giant glass of wine and bag of pillow mints . It feels like you should be paying more attention but it’s also structured and organized enough that you don’t have to. Satisfying and looking forward to more! And I like the on-the-ground aspects, so I hope that becomes a feature :)

No thanks
This is not a serious effort. The hosts don’t bring anything to this subject except millennial hipster vibes. The only substance here is of the controlled variety. I can tell they’re having a lot of fun doing this, so i guess good for them, but I’m moving on.

Don’t waste your time
It’s not good. Typical little millennial girls giggling and snickering constantly at things that are not near funny, while mispronouncing and misrepresenting others works

Highly recommend
Well-researched. Hosts are very engaging. Super interesting subject matter! Just the right level of spooooooky
