We are here? At the end of the line? This is the last episode of the IT Weekly Newsletter TT6? Yep, Warren is retiring. Actually retiring this time. Or so he says. How old is he really? Listen and find out!
Wow. Warren and I recorded over 67 podcast sessions! On review, it seems only about half or our recordings were professionally produced and actually released to the public. Which means there are another 30+ older episodes idly sitting in storage. That could be a project for some year or two in which the entire population of the planet gets stuck inside quarantining again – – nah! That will never happen… We are moving on!
Let us know here at TT6, Flying Pig audio and Small World Big Data if there is a techy IT podcast that you’d like to hear. Or if you might like to sponsor the next incarnation of our professional IT take on the world.
You can still follow the TechTop6 in your favorite podcast directory and we’ll keep you up to date on any future TT6 or TT6-like content. It’s definitely not too late to give us a great rating if you liked what you hear on TT6 (Cmon! Lots of stars for Warren!).

It’s TechTop6 again! In this episode with Warren Avery, chief curator at the IT Weekly Newsletter we look into articles that range from data privacy to cloud waste, but it’s the “getting to no” that gives us our episode title. We are still a little security obsessed, but we blame it on the continuing pandemic (oh, and the increase in ransomware).
In this latest episode:
* Digital Transformation Tips– You have to turn into something, might as well be digital!* Ohio Data Privacy – Your own private Idaho – er, Ohio?* Getting To No – Cause Yes was too easy* Biases Kill – Slayed by preferences…* Cloud Waste – It’s all vaporware at some level* Zero Trust Tenets – Trusting in Zero Trust

Hey All! Warren and I haven’t disappeared. Really! In fact we’ve just finished recording our 50th TT6 Episode. Unfortunately only half have been published for our mad raving fanbase (that’s you all!). What can we say? We have very high standards and top-notch production is very important to us. No audio shortcuts, no raw noise-filled ear pain for our audience. No way! Super-high quality production or nothing…
So, we are working on a better production path. Free isn’t cheap you know. Cross your fingers (and unplug your ears) and keep the faith friends. More TT6 is coming down the pike…
In this new episode Warren and I take our time and review a baker’s handful of the latest and greatest –
* Multi-cloud Strategies – If it’s easy to use them, it’s easy to lose them* SLA Best Practices – Because there are worse ways to do it* Become a Hacker – Gotta learn something* Freelancing Compliance – Like Pirates at a Party* Cross Cloud Apps– Why Multi-cloud if you can’t Multi-host?* Critical IT Policies – Here’s hoping you have at least seven
Any comments or free stuff you want to give us? Scans of your inspired TT6 fan artwork maybe? Feel free to reach out. You can even use this free one-click secure form here!
Be sure to subscribe to the TechTop6 in your favorite podcast directory so you don’t miss a single episode. Tell your friends, tell your co-workers, but don’t tell your family. They’d be nice about it but probably wouldn’t understand.
