Everyone wishes they could go back in time and talk to Jesus, if only to prove what he actually believed. In today’s story, we portray a tech mogul who has created his own digital Jesus, though it doesn’t behave quite as he’d hoped. Professor Randall William Reed hasn’t quite done that just yet, but he’s on his way. He and his team are working on an AI programmed with the complete sayings of Jesus from multiple translations of the gospels. Once it’s completed, it should be able to comment on current events with fascinating insight. Professor Reed also discusses what religion means to Gen Z, and how their relationship to technology shapes their beliefs.
