Being a teacher is not easy. About a year ago after a hard day at school I found your podcast. It was my introduction to true crime and I haven't looked back since. Thank you for bringing us cases after you have already given so much at school and home. I love how relatable you both are!

I got introduced to y’all by a friend! I was a third grade teacher in Springfield Illinois forever and in the past few years have become a literacy coach! From Her daughter(I just stole her phone): “she won’t stop talking about it! it’s always on in the car!! She just told me about one of you having a baby and I can see how happy listening to y’all daily makes her.” I was going to delete my sweet girls add ons, but she is right! Y’all validate, entertain and inform of REAL life teaching! Thank you for bringing light to real life! I rock my apparel at school and tell everyone I know! This is too long so I’ll just say… keep it up! Your future has no limits!!

This is a wonderful podcast. I love the banter! I love how the show gives respect for the victims and advocates for mental health. I love y’all! I am a teacher and pumping mom, so y’all have kept me company during my planning and lunch times pumping in my classroom closet😂 I feel like I was talking with my teacher besties during every episode!

I first got into this podcast through my guardian when we started listening to it on car rides. I instantly loved learning everything about the different crimes and all the information you guys put with it. I listen to it at least four hours a day at work and am dreading when I have to wait a week to hear a new one. My little sister and I sing all the jingles to each other just randomly. We even have a song that combined them all. Easiest five stars I have ever gave. I also appreciate the effort you guys put into being teachers and the relationships you guys develop with the students, if it wasn’t for my school counselor(now my guardian) I wouldn’t be the person I am today without her!

I absolutely love you ladies and look forward to my Monday morning drives every week! I found y’all while on maternity leave earlier last year and binged in no time! Sit down, shut up, the review is about to begin! So I started listening to this podcast about a month ago and I have now listened to all of the episodes. All of them were great. Once I started listening I couldn’t stop. TTC is now one of my favorite podcasts and I will be looking forward to hearing a new episodes each week! Love Brooke and Ashleigh and the way the tell the stories. They are so relatable and real which makes me love the podcast even more. I love the compassion they have for each of the victims. Love, love, love this podcast! I have literally abandoned my other podcasts since listening to ‘Teachers Talk Crime’. I was a Reading Interventionist in Elementary for 10 years, moved to second grade right before the pandemic and am currently an Social/Emotional Learning (SEL)Coach within the same district. I love how you ladies bring awareness to the importance of taking care of your mental health as well as your emotional well being. Every episode I listen to it feels like I’m sitting around with my teacher besties having a good old fashioned rant session with murder and crime sprinkled in for good measure. I dread the day I get current on the TTC episodes as I know it will be like finishing a good book or Netflix series. My husband says I talk about you both like you’re my besties- and I tell him- you are! He low key might be jealous 😏💅🏾. Besties keep up the great work!!

First of all, THANK YOU for being teachers! It’s a thankless job sometimes and you both do so much. I’m not a teacher, but my sis-in-law and two best friends are, and I know how challenging the profession can be. Second, this podcast is so dang good👏🏼 I worked with adolescents for 6 years and it’s fascinating to hear your perspective on these cases. I found this podcast on Tik Tok when it first started. When I first found it there were maybe the first 10 episodes out and I went back to listen to all of them. Last year was my first year of teaching, and finding a podcast that I could escape to after work that would distract me was so reliving. It was also nice to know that how I was feeling last year was somewhat normal, and more teachers felt how I felt than I thought. Ashleigh and Brooke keep all things so real, weather it’s the real life talk, teacher talk, and obviously the crime talk. I love how they feature both low level and high profile cases. Thank you so much for your podcast, these 5 stars are for you, Yeah!! I stumbled across Brooke’s Instagram account, and she cracked me up. I caught her shoutout about her true crime podcast. At the time, I only dabbled in true crime and Brooke is entertaining, so I figured I’d check it out. Oh, and I was also a teacher. I started listening when there were only 3 episodes and then I was introduced to Ms. Brantyyyy with 3 Y's and an underscore and it was love at first hear. I tell anyone and everyone who will listen, what an awesome podcast this is. I am no longer a teacher, but I am a behavior tech and I still work in the same school district, but now I support behaviors and this podcast had a little something to do with that! Behaviors in our school district have increased tremendously in the past few years, so I joined our behavior team, and we are not only being reactive but focusing on being proactive with these behaviors. Anyway, you ladies are amazing and I enjoy listening to you every week. Oh and ladies, way to slay that Halloween special. It was phenomenal. Now, I have more podcasters to listen to! You ladies continue to amaze me with your wit, entertaining ways, creativity, and passion for serving others. Keep up the great work and for the record, your banter is my favorite!! Love love love your podcast! I listen everyday on my way to work. 25 minutes flies by when I feel like I’m chatting with friends instead of listening to a podcast. I even use some of your phrases/jingles with my students. I have been listening since the beginning. CONGRATULATIONS on episode 100 and many more to come!

I found this podcast when it popped up in my tiktok over a year ago. I think there was only 7 or 8 episodes out at the time and now we’re at 100!! I have never looked forward to a Monday until I found this podcast and I love listening on my way home from work (I live 50 minutes from my school on a good day). It definitely helps me decompress I teach special education pre-k so it’s definitely nice to get my mind off of everything. Thank y’all so much for bringing cases with not only a different perspective but only ones that don’t get enough coverage. Can’t wait to hear the next 100 episodes. Found podcast by searching for George Kennedy. I skipped for 14 minutes for the story to even begin. Okay for an hour long podcast but 45 minute? With ads how many minutes is the content? That’s wild. Second complaint the host was like “i did this research on my school issued computer that blocks out websites so i’m unsure” GIRRL BFFR. I just turned it off. You can’t be serious? You’re on a podcast not planning your lesson plans. Get a computer with proper internet?

I have been an 8th grade teacher for 18 years and I’m a true crime junkie. I actually started listening because of Jana and Silver Lining Lessons!! Loaded teas are a must!! Over the years, I’ve had several students commit various crimes. I absolutely LOVE how y’all bring to light how little “power” teachers actually have and bring awareness to mental health and advocacy of the students. This is not a podcast for just teachers! I also love how real you are about the profession and how positive and uplifting you are about being a teacher. It’s truly a breath of fresh air with all of the negative views of teachers and attitudes of some teachers. We aren’t all the same! It is evident that you two truly love your job, love the kiddos, and strive to build those important relationships with the students! I have recommended you to my entire team and several parents! I have never in my life ever listened to a podcast. I’ve always been a closet true crime junkie and used to fall asleep to First 48 and Unsolved Mysteries. I love the relationship you two have and knowing Brooke personally and hearing the life snippets usually make me giggle. I feel like Ashleigh is someone I could really get along with! I am not a teacher or an adult, but I am a teachers kid. Because of this I understand all of the teacher talk and it’s great. My teacher parents has gone through just about all of the teacher talk you guys have talked about. I love crime podcasts, and being a teachers kid this podcast is PERFECT. I love the banter and the humor and sympathy for everyone that it is needed for. Keep up the good work.

Firstly, let’s talk cases. This podcast covers many cases that I’ve not heard about on other true crime podcasts. I also love how I get a new perspective on the cases that I have heard, as the hosts approach these cases in a different way! Ashleigh and Brooke look at cases from the perspective of teachers. I also appreciate that they try to focus on the victims in their coverage of each case. Next, I’d like to discuss TTC’s show format. I love how the podcast has evolved over time into what it is now! I think the hosts have really found their groove. I love the cute teacher-themed segments and references throughout each podcast. I like how they begin each podcast catching up with one another, on life things and teacher things! I really feel like I am a part of the conversation, being a teacher myself. The hosts then move into their “estudiante estrella” and praise a subscriber for their review of the show. Before starting their topic of conversation, the hosts make sure to let listeners know what trigger warnings will be covered during the day’s case. They make sure to drop episodes consistently which is huge and such a challenge in the podcasting world. Ashleigh and Brooke handle their podcast with the utmost care and consideration, and it shows! Lastly, ✨THE HOSTS!✨ Ashleigh and Brooke have a vulnerability to them that I deeply admire. I love how they are so open with one another and their audience. I was lucky enough to find TTC when they were on their 6th episode drop. I needed a teacher oriented show, and the fact that it was true-crime focused was a huge bonus! I’ve been here through many changes and additions in the show’s infancy. I have LOVED attending the recent addition of the instagram lives when Ashleigh and Brooke are together recording “lessons.” I feel like I have had the pleasure to get to know these two beautiful souls through the podcast, their social media accounts, and the instagram lives. They have truly become my internet besties! I’m so proud of them for SOMEHOW finding time to make their podcast a success while teaching, being a fiancé, being a girlfriend, and being a mom of twins! You are each an inspiration, and I’m so proud of you on your first official year of TTC! Congratulations to my internet besties!! ❤️❤️

I’m a first year special education teacher and listen to this podcast on my hour long drive to and from school. I feel like I’m on a FaceTime call with my besties which makes the long drive SO much better! I love how they add teacher perspective and always tell it how it is. I also love that each case is in one episode. Overall, it’s great! Rock on teacher besties ❤️

I have listened to true crime podcasts for years but Ashleigh and Brooke bring a fresh perspective to each case they cover. As a fellow teacher, I am in love with how they connect the cases to mental health and the honesty with which they present what it is like working in the education field today. I truly respect the fact these are two boss babes who produce a podcast at regular intervals amidst the chaos of working in Americas educational system. For that alone you each deserve all the stars, but this rating thing only goes up to 5. I will be a listener for life even if I burn out of teaching because the podcast is just that good.

Ashleigh and Brooke have great chemistry and do great research for the cases! It’s very entertaining to listen to. Only thing I’m not a huge fan of are the star student bits.

As someone who just left the profession (mid-year, I know) I was in need of something to play in my ear all day (iykyk). I normally do not like crime podcast because I’m a scaredy cat and would start checking behind my every move. However, TTC — UNLIKE ANY OTHER!!! Brooke and Ashley bring you along through these cases like a good tour guide. Telling you the facts AND their opinions (which I make sure to chime in on). I am sad….because I caught up on all the episodes! I listen to this podcast as I clean my house and now I have no motivation to clean! I love the witty banter between these two and love their unique approach to discussing true crime. It’s all my favorite things: teaching, true crime, mental health advocacy, and friendship. Ok, I love, love, LOVE these gals! Real teachers with real stories who happen to drink loaded teas and tell the gruesome tales of children and young adults. They are just as stressed as I am, yet they still find the time to do this amazing research on cases and tell them eloquently every week. I listen to them every morning and afternoon while driving to and from work. (I teach high school special education.) This podcast de-stresses me from the days ridiculousness of students and administration. I wish I could give them 10 gold stars!

I can’t get enough of this podcast! I’m in college to be a middle school teacher who is obsessed with all things spooky and morbid, so this podcast is perfect! I love the cases mixed in with real talk about the classroom. Im very sad that I’m caught up on episodes, so as long as you guys enjoy it keep the episodes coming!

I love their banter and how they share cases. I cringe however that they’re teachers and often don’t know basic elementary knowledge of things. Most recently that Oklahoma and Texas share a border. It’s a bit concerning. But I will continue to listen because they’ve got a fun dynamic.

I discovered this podcast on Brooke’s tiktok not too long ago, and now I’m obsessed!! I love being able to relate to the people telling the true crime stories. With this podcast I get the best of both worlds-true crime and Teaching. Y’all make my commute to work super enjoyable!

Absolutely the best true crime podcast I have ever listened to. I have been binging all of your episodes on my drive to work and back. Now that I’m caught up I don’t know what to do with myself. I will just have to start them back over and listen again. Love the back and forth between y’all and your focus on mental health. Mental health is extremely important and I feel like as a teacher my job is to show them how to communicate, deal with conflict correctly and acknowledge their own emotions first, then teach them math. As a fellow tired teacher this year y’all keep doing what y’all are doing because it is working and we are loving it! Ps. I have had two students already this year start having aggressive behaviors out of nowhere and when I brought it to their parent’s attention they had both upped their meds. They are working on getting it changed. Thank you for the insight.

Brooke and Ashleigh are my favorite podcast hosts! This show meets all my super true crime fan needs! Not only are they teachers like me, but they are so real and relatable too! My favorite part of their podcast is that they highlight so many important cases that never hit the main stream media (or at least were not as well known).I can also admit here that I now have an obsession with Loaded Teas because of them! You need to Follow them on ALL their social media too!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE TTC! I religiously recommend the show to all of my coworkers — it’s the perfect way to unwind after a long day of TAing grumpy 10 year olds and being brutally exhausted teaching them some of their materials. If I’m writing my Progress reports? I more than likely might end up transcribing the latest Loaded Tea suggestions or “yikes on tykes on bikes”.
