ADHD Needs Goals
ADHD needs goals to stay on track and be successful. They are known for their creative minds and ability to think outside the box. However, they also tend to be scattered and disorganized. This can make it difficult for them to achieve their goals. One way to combat this is by setting specific, measurable, and achievable goals. Breaking down your goals into small, manageable steps will help you stay focused and on track. It is also vital for ADHDers to have a support system in place. Having someone to talk to about goals and progress while setting deadlines for yourself will help to keep you accountable and motivated. If you're an ADHDer, use your unique strengths to your advantage and set goals to help you succeed. #ADHD #GoalSetting #Entrepreneur — Focus on sharpening the tools you already have in your bag. Micro Shifts, Habit Stacking/Cycling
Micro shifts, habit stacking/cycling. These two components are the absolute powerhouse of how you shift your behaviors and build new habits. They work to make sure that you become set up for success. They help make you feel comfortable when you're uncomfortable and move forward in the direction you want to take with your life. Micro shifts are the key to creating lasting change in your life. What exactly are they? Micro shifts are when you take a small action/decision. It's as simple as turning off your television or radio while you work on your project or writing that book you want to write and not watching TV; this becomes crucial in implementing change into our needs, likes, and passions. The thing about micro shifts is that they can change your life completely. Especially if it's what you want to shift. Why not? You can manifest like anything you want, but why not use it as a vehicle or even a tool to change something that you want in your life. #adhdbrains #microshifts #habitcycling #change #powerhouse #behaviors #direction #manifest — Focus on sharpening the tools you already have in your bag. ADHD New Year's Resolutions: How to Set and Achieve Them
New Years Intentions not Resolutions Setting intentions involves clarifying what you want and putting it into the universe. Sometimes, we can get caught up in the shame of not hitting our goals, but it's important to remember that we're human and not perfect. Sometimes we miss the mark, but that doesn't mean we should give up. Instead, we should learn from our mistakes and keep moving forward. We can achieve great things if we keep our intentions in mind and focus on the positive. It's essential to make a list of specific and measurable goals. But it's equally as important to focus on your priorities. As an ADHDer, what are the things you're going to do to reduce stress and improve your life? Here are a few suggestions: - Make your to-do list - Get up early and do your most challenging tasks first - Build a morning routine - Plan your week - Get rid of things that aren't serving you - Learn your triggers and make a plan for them - Delegate tasks to other people - Find a support network of people that understand you - Find a coping skill that works for you - Plan activities that are fun and engaging - Make a list of rewards Intention creates a long-term pact to change for the better in some aspect of your life. You could set an intention to work on your work environment and relationships or create one to focus on a skill or hobby. You could even make an intention to get in shape. It is a simple way to create success in various areas of your life. Although it may not be as immediate as a resolution, an intention can be achieved. #IntentionsNotResolutions #GoalSetting #Success — Focus on sharpening the tools you already have in your bag. Practicing Year End Gratitude
If you're one of the many people with ADHD, you may find that the end of the year is particularly challenging. The holiday season can be stressful and overwhelming, and it can be easy to get caught up in the negative and forget to focus on the positive. One way to combat this is to make a point of practicing gratitude. Gratitude is something that can give your life a much-needed boost, and it can help your mind and body to get back on track if you're feeling a little off. At the end of each day, take a few moments to reflect on what went well and what you're thankful for. This can help you to reframe your thinking and focus on the positive aspects of your life. It can also be helpful to list things you're grateful for at the end of the year. This can be a great way to reflect on all the good that has happened, and it can help to remind you of what you have to be thankful for as you move into the new year. #Grateful #PracticingGratitude #Focus — Focus on sharpening the tools you already have in your bag. Thriving During The Holidays with ADHD
The holidays can be an overwhelming time for people with ADHD. But despite the extra stress, it doesn’t have to be a time of stagnation or feeling overwhelmed. Here are a few tips for thriving during the holidays with ADHD. First and foremost, know your non-negotiables. Take stock of what you need to do to keep your business alive and running during the holidays. It’s essential to stay present with your clients and ensure they know you’re available. At the same time, be mindful of your own energy and capacity. Establishing boundaries and being honest with yourself about what you can handle will go a long way in keeping your business on track. Second, create systems that work for you. For example, if you forget tasks or appointments, create a schedule that clearly outlines what needs to be done and when. Use reminders or alarms to help you stay on track. Having transparent systems in place can help reduce the stress of feeling like you need to be everywhere at once. Finally, don’t forget to take care of yourself during the holidays. Make sure you have time for yourself and do activities that bring you joy. How To Function When You Want To But Can't Seem To
We all have times when we don’t feel like doing anything. For some, this chronic problem leads to self-sabotage and unhappiness. But it doesn’t have to be this way. You can improve your life by understanding why you do what you do and then taking steps to change the pattern. The first step is recognizing that you are capable of more than you think. You must also be honest with yourself about why you’re procrastinating in the first place and address any patterns of self-sabotage and self-loathing. Once you understand where your inner critic comes from, it becomes easier to silence her voice. Accountability is essential to this process; make sure you have a tribe of people who get it and will help keep you on track. And finally, create nourishment menus for yourself – times when you know you can fully commit to whatever task is at hand without distractions or guilt trips. Celebrate your accomplishments along the way. What did YOU do today to honor your own badassery? — Focus on sharpening the tools you already have in your bag. Trust, Vulnerability and What You Actually Know
Being authentic and trusting our audiences are two principles we should all try to live by when it comes to sales. Putting ourselves out there can be tricky, but if we do it in a way that is true to who we are, the rewards can be significant. Our clients want to hear from us honestly and trust that we have their best interests at heart. When we build relationships of trust with them, they are more likely to buy from us. Trust yourself, be authentic, and put your message out there. It may not be ideal, but your clients will respond in kind as long as you’re true to who you are. And that’s when the real magic happens. How has trusting your audience helped you achieve better results in your business? — Focus on sharpening the tools you already have in your bag.
