While a month is certainly not sufficient to speak to extensive contributions made in this country by members of the African American community, we wanted to take this time to recognize some influential historical people and events that are often overlooked. We hope through this conversation that you are inspired to take the initiative to increase your knowledge, self-reflect, and move forward with us in pursuit of a more inclusive world.
