The AI Skeptic Dismissal is Ridiculous
OK, enough, with the all out mockery of the critics of all about AI acceleration.
I’m an AI enthusiast but I’m also what I consider to be fairly sober minded and clear eye about the existential risks and I don’t think I’m crazy. Hearing these dudes laugh at any criticism of AI’s progress and simply wave off credible concerns by saying a person is just looking for a book deal is so irresponsible and unhelpful to the discourse. Yes, we need podcasts like moonshots that celebrate technological progress, but I think many of us enthusiasts would like to see these people taking the risks seriously and certainly not mocking them openly.

Sold out, lost the energy that made it great, hosts clearly enjoying it less
Used to be a great show. Has degraded in recent months in terms of energy, guest quality, how fun the show is. You can see it on their faces that they don’t enjoy it as much. I can understand doing a daily show for over a year can be tiresome, but that’s not excuse for a marked drop in quality.

Great show, soundboard RULES
The content is primo. The talking over each other is chaotically awesome, don’t listen to the complainers. More soundboard please. Keep being yourselves fellas, you don’t need to fix what ain’t broke!

Love the show, but chill on the sound board high
Love the show, but please chill on the sound board high and low voices. It takes away from the content - can’t understand a word.

Boys interrupted
TBPN covers tech industry topics really well such as AI, big companies, all that stuff. The hosts know their material. But they talk over each other constantly, even interrupt guests sometimes, which gets annoying. It’s worth listening to if you care about tech, but they need to chill with the interruptions.
NicaEGR
Egregious soundboard use
I’m a fan, but the soundboard use (especially the low/high voices) makes the show unlistenable at times.

Meet their new owner
If you know who Sam Altman is or his company open AI he just bought this podcast as of the writing of this review. So if you like Open AI or big tech propaganda Sam is you master and TBPN is your joseph goebbels.

Low and inconsistent volume
Great content. Fell in love with the pod immediately and have been continuously listening for about a month. However, the volume level of this pod is much lower than all my other pods I listen to. It's painful (literally) to have to crank up the volume to 90% only to have the episode end and switch to my other pods. Explosive.
Please adjust the recording. Also, one of the host's volume is lower and it's inconsistent. He starts to mumble and the volume drops. Please please please keep your voice's volume consistent. Please adjust the pod's volume to the norm.

Amazing coverage of tech, AI business… and daily X roundup
Soaring Crane
100% Electric
Gulfstreams, wrist hitters, impeccable ad reads, and daily coverage of technology news. What more could one ask for? Between John and Jordi, they have the height and the hair to revolutionize technology and private capital commentary, putting the TB in capital J journalism. I have been an avid fan from the inception and will be for life. Cannot recommend more to anyone interested in business, technology, or loud opulence.
TBPN is 100% electric just like Flux Marine's 100% electric outboards. Escape the noise, fumes, and maintenance of traditional gas engines with a Flux outboard. Now offering our high performance 115hp outboards as well as complete boat packages with industry leading hull partners. The only outboard suitable for recording podcasts at full throttle. Live content is the gold standard and very difficult to pull off outside of sports. We tried it with Goodtalk in 2018 and failed even with 2M users. Clubhouse raised $200M in 2020/21 and still struggles to make live content work.
In 2025, these guys are making it work by creating a sense of immediacy that doesn’t exist elsewhere in the world of tech.

Every night I step out of the office on my way home, pop in my earphones, and hear that sweet sound of: “YOURE WATCHIN TBPN!!!” and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Highly recommend; TBPN has replaced almost all my other podcasts.

Stop saying “like”
Great information, engaging, informative, and entertaining. HOWEVER, everyone speaking uses the word “like” so frequently, you’d think they lacked maturity, confidence, and knowledge. Gentlemen, purge the use of “like” from your speech.

Appreciate all that you do!
Daily listener as of the last two months. I feel Ike I’m getting a front row seat to the accelerando, and I don’t always like what I learn, yet I still show up each day because I appreciate folks who call balls and strikes.
I’m growing Madison Process Automation in Madison, Wisconsin because this is the area where I can continue to help folks build value while staying true to who I am in the new economy after my current/previous Fortune 500 employer dithers under the weight of its own inertia in the next year or two. Thank McKinsey for that. We build bots that save time and money for your small to midsize business, and our stuff works. Automate every process. We can help.

Absolute legends of technology and finance
Based takes, gong hits, and vibes of technocapital abundance are a few words I’d use to describe the show. Really enjoy it, seriously, and they do a great job curating guests, some of which are now in my X rolodex. It’s time to accelerate.

Hooked on tbpn
I've been hooked on TBPN lately, and really loved the episode that featured the Waymo - Toyota partnership. It’s like the tech world's version of sports talk radio, in the best way possible. John and Jordi keep things fast-paced, unfiltered, and genuinely fun, but still manage to dig into the serious stuff happening across startups, AI, and venture capital. You can tell they’ve actually built stuff themselves, which makes their takes way more insightful than the usual surface-level chatter. Whether it's breaking down the latest funding round or grilling a big-name founder, it always feels like a real conversation, not a polished PR piece. If you're into tech and want to stay sharp without falling asleep — this show’s it.

Silicon Valley’s Morning Espresso
If NPR did CrossFit and binged Red Bull, you'd get TBPN. It’s the daily show for technocrats, hosted by John Coogan and Jordi Hays—two gentlemen so classy and caffeinated, I had to double-check they weren't simulations.
Every weekday, TBPN slings the latest hot takes, venture insights, latest in AGI land and crypto faster than you can pop a lucy. One minute it's Fortnite's in-app economics, the next it's an AI Belt and Road geopolitical manifesto, and somehow it all works.
It's like if "All-In" had a baby with "The Daily Show," and then fed that baby a steady diet of VC term sheets and synthetic dopamine.
10/10 would recommend—even if this review was written by an LLM trained exclusively on Elon tweets and Founders Fund pitch decks.
Tune in before your GPU gets repossessed.

These guys get it
I’m a tech founder so I constantly am listening to news sources to keep me up to date with the industry. Most of it is awful. TBPN is the complete opposite. No bias, no fluff, just straight down to it. Really enjoy the daily listen and I learn something new which each episode.

A better version of the All In podcast
Best way to consume the firehose of content for the technology industry. Shockingly this hasn’t been done before. From the episodes I’ve listened to. There’s not a lot of politics. Just updates and news.
John Shelburne
My wife’s boyfriend’s favorite podcast
If you want to sound smart at the next All-In podcast meetup, TBPN is the podcast you should play in the Waymo on the way over.
Technology Brothers? More like Ticker Brothers. Every time I tune in, they’ve added another ticker. At this rate, the screen will be 100% tickers in a month.
Thanks to TBPN, I know more about a niche autonomous seaplane startup than I do my own job. Keep up the good work boys!

TBPN has immediately become one of my favorite listens. Awesome guests and great conversations. Also incredibly bold for being the first US podcast on a 996 schedule.
One thing to improve - I have no way to get notified when they drop the TBPN branded Italian suede driving slippers. They should get setup on Laylo which powers drops for the world’s biggest creators, musicians and live events. Other than that, great show.

Hard Power, Soft Belief, and my Review of TBPN
TBPN is the seminal technology podcast of our day. John and Jordi exemplify the human desire to create and contribute to a project that is bigger than the self — a devotion to the aesthetic. Zero to One, but Unhinged
The Technology Brothers podcast isn’t just a show—it’s a founder’s dojo, a 10x brain gym, and a capital allocator’s confessional all wrapped into one. Every episode is a masterclass in thinking from first principles, moving fast, and breaking every norm except the ones that print cash. John and Jordi don’t just talk tech—they talk trajectory. Listen long enough, and you’ll either build something great or realize you never had the stomach for it in the first place.
But let’s talk execution. You know what else requires ruthless efficiency? Managing your finances when the system wasn’t built for you. That’s where Purple comes in.
🚀 Purple is the first banking and benefits platform built for the disability community—because fintech forgot millions of Americans who actually need financial tools built for real life. Checking accounts, EBT integration, ABLE savings—all in one place.
Purple built the Mercury for people with disabilities—because dealing with Social Security makes raising a Series A look easy. Check it out at withpurple.com.

Relentless alpha
The technology brothers are at it 5 days a week, consistently delivering fresh alpha right out of the oven on the most relevant news in tech. It’s like taking a peak into the elite group chats you’ve never been apart of. With 2-3 hours of top tier daily content from the brotherhood, I no longer have time to catch the latest flop guest rotation of the week on All-In, and I don’t miss it.
This review is sponsored by Psychedelic Science, the premier psychedelic conference globally, hosted in Denver this June. Don’t miss 300+ speakers covering the latest breakthroughs in psychedelic research alongside 12,000+ attendees. Marc Andreessen can yap about ayahuasca one-shotting founders all he wants, but just because it’s no longer contrarian to be into psychedelics doesn’t mean they deserve newfound hate from Silicon Valley. They’re not without risks, and they’re not for everyone, but there’s no debating their immense potential for healing, creativity, and let’s be honest, fun. Register today to learn about the latest psychedelic research, policy, and culture this summer.

No wonder everyone I know told me to watch this. If they say X is ahead of the world, John & Jordi are ahead of X. They take the largest feats & most interesting developments from startup and VC to broader technology and business - then extract it into an engaging and easy to listen to format. Couldn’t recommend this podcast enough to anyone who needs a quick and easy way to digest the biggest news you won’t find anywhere else.
I’ve also heard they’re the first profitable podcast, which is no shocker, this is the no brainer spot to advertise your company or news!

Tech Bros Are Not Real
But if they were this is what they would sound like. Excellent podcast. My only critique is the brothers often recommending donning a tuxedo… DURING THE DAY. Everyone knows a morning coat is the appropriate attire before 6pm. Not on brand fellows.

My barrage continues
The Technology Brothers Podcast is, without a doubt, the apex of intellectual discourse. Which brings me to the matter at hand: Securing my spot on PMF or Die While others might focus on surviving their time in the cage, I’ve developed a strategy to thrive. My plan? Launch a venture fund inside the cage. Yes, you heard that right. I’ll back the other founders. Partnering with them to skyrocket growth. Now for the kicker I will raise capital from viewers of the show, and effectively lever up while still hitting that $1m but instead of ARR… AUM. This will allow me to size lord the cage and also leave with ownership in amazing companies and thrusting me into the venture capital world and allow me to raise my second fund.
This isn’t just talk either—I’ve already met with Jordi at 11pm on a Friday (because that’s the kind of dedication I bring). My performance on that call. piss poor as I was recovering from jet lag but I don’t make excuses. Let this review serve as both an ode to the podcast and a formal declaration: I will be on this show. Until then, I’ll keep listening, plotting, and preparing my cage-ready portfolio.

Lifelong bureaucrat
Great podcast, although it has nothing to do with my line of work doing TPS reports and pushing paper in the federal bureaucracy. it gives me a sense of how the other half lives or better yet the one percent. Love to listen and then drop the lingo on my GS 14 supervisors. Great way to seem value add and tech native. Since no one in my government workplace understands any of these words (banger, patek Philip, size gong) they think I must be working in the IT. The net result is they leave me alone and then I have more time to listen to Technology Brothers podcast. Huge win.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Surplus Value or Die: A Love Letter to Technology Brothers
If Technology Brothers were a startup, they’d already be at a $100M valuation with no product, just vibes. Listening to this podcast is like getting an unsolicited LinkedIn DM from a founder who insists they’re "pre-PMF but disrupting everything." And honestly? I love it.
But let’s talk about real product-market fit. You know what’s actually disrupting the fitness and adventure world? Death Waiver. Yeah, you heard me. While these guys talk about startups, I’m over here building a real company where the only KPI that matters is whether you’re tough enough to click "Buy Now."
Are you looking for adventure trips, extreme fitness challenges, and gear that says, “I could probably fight a bear if I had to”? Then stop doomscrolling, open a new tab, and go to deathwaiver.com. Because real surplus value isn’t a substack essay—it’s signing up for an event that might make your ancestors proud.
Oh, and if you’re listening, PMF or Die, I’m ready for my Y Combinator-sized check.

The missing piece to my chad diet
Last year I committed to overhauling my diet and becoming a true chad. Existing nutrition apps weren’t cutting it so I took matters into my own hands. I built Your Body AI (now available in the Apple App Store or at yourbodyai.com), the fastest and easiest way to track your calories and macros.
But there was a missing piece. My information diet.
Fortunately I discovered Technology Brothers. They consistently deliver the essential tech insights and entrepreneurial inspiration my mind craves.
With both body and mind now fueled by optimal nutrients, I’m a new man. I’m down 12 pounds. I’m pushing up 2 plates on the bench. My wife and kids respect me. I couldn’t be more excited for what 2025 will bring.
