The only condition to get closer to Allah is making the effort to do so. This is an attempt to attach my heart only to the One who created it.

“HasbiAllahu - laa ilaaha illa huwa alayhi tawakkaltu wa huwa Rabbul arshil adheem” is one of my favourite and most frequently made duas. It calms me down, gives me confidence and reminds me to always place my trust in Allah.
