This leads to an overly detailed explanation of the difference in Bipolar Disorder and emotional dysregulation disorders. Long story short - Marty is probably not bipolar. Then Josh takes on a dolphin riding experience with his love of thunderstorms, which turns into a discussion about the animal within all of us. We discuss the impact of increased standards in civilized countries and how animalistic urges will surface if left unaddressed. This discussion somehow leads to a discussion on homosexuality and words Paul made up. Then, we have a very interesting coffee segment that I would not call a review. At the recommendation of Zane, we tried cold coffee and mentos to see if it tastes like pumpernickel bread. Then we transition to the topic of heresy and what makes a belief heretical. We define the term and discuss how the concept has been weaponized through the centuries. It proves to be an excellent daily drinker that delivers a solid 6.2 on the completely made up T&J coffee scale. Josh also introduces us to a new game that will prove to be very addictive if you allow. We then transition into a discussion on medical emergencies at church and the bad things that happen in life. In response to a listener question, we discuss the age old debate or "why do bad things happen" and what is God's role in these things. We try to define what "bad" is and discuss our views of God and His level of intervention with creation. We then circle back around and try to explain our answer to this difficult question.
