Brad J, tells the story on how he met Brad Nowell of Sublime 5 years before his death. Brad J goes into detail on their meeting at a Lala Palooza Concert in Irvine in 1991. Brad, gives his opinion on touring as Long Beach Dub Allstars instead of remaining Sublime. Bradley is truly missed, but his music will live on forever. 

In this episode, Brad Jay has to explain to his father, that the military is not for him. Even when Brad's Dad told him skateboarding wasn't going to take him anywhere, he still followed his dreams. Naysayer after naysayer kept telling Brad to reevaluate his life goals. It seemed everyone at one point tried to tell him what was best for him. The key takeaway here is, to follow your dreams. Don't quit your day job, but follow your dreams and your passions. Working in the field that you love, is like never working a day in your life! 

In Podcast 73, Brad Jay dives head first into getting fired, and turning it into a positive. Brad Jay was fired from 3 separate jobs and used it to his advantage and still does to this day. Sad but true. Brad Jay learns a very valuable lesson early in his successful announcing career. Sit down and be humble, learn how to take a compliment without being a complete A-hole. Being cocky is not conducive to a great career. People will want to work with a person that is humble and not a fricken jerk. Fellow workers, starting telling Brad that he had Braditude and that wasn't a good thing as he found out. Catch more flys with honey than vinegar. 

In this episode Brad Jay cause an International incident flying from Germany to The USA on United. He also discovers its nearly impossible to find ice in Germany to get your beers cold in your hotel bathroom sink. It's true they drink warm beers in Germany.
