IM BACK!!! During this week's episode I share with you what I learned since my 45th birthday just passed. I give you some of the business tools that I currently can't live without AND I tell you all about the breakdown I had recently and why I was MIA for last week's episode. Hey it may sound like rambling, but if you listen really closely you may just walk away with a tip or two or three and some tools that you may think about adding to your business. My 45th year is HERE and I am gonna make the VERY MOST OF IT!! I have no affliate links for any of the tools I mention (except for Taxdome), but most of you all don't want that now do y'all? LOL

Why do we add Audit Protection to every tax return? 3. What services do we offer? 4. Should your bookkeeper/tax resolution person also prepare your tax return? 5. How do I find out what the IRS knows about me (AKA which transcripts should I pull)? 6. How do I know what to adjust my withholdings to (AKA ad for using the IRS Withholding Estimator)? 7. How do I properly elect to switch my LLC to an S Corporation (Filling out the Form 2553)? 8. How long have you operated a virtual firm? 9. Why should we work with you and your firm? 10. Why the heck are you so geeked about accounting and taxes? Whew....I didn't even realize that folks keep asking the same questions over and over and over...SIKE of course they do because they wanna get to know who I am and what I represent. During this week's episode, we are talking to a professional who knows her space and is actively shaping the minds of the next generation starting at 6 weeks old. We are taking an honest peek at how Mrs. Trishawn Adams decided that Early Childhood Education and an At Home Daycare is what worked best for her. Anyone who is a parent or is thinking about being a parent; anyone who is considering homeschool for young children; or you have children getting ready to start school in the next few years you are gonna wanna listen with ALL YOUR LISTENING EARS. Trishawn not only tells us about ourselves as parents, but gives us things to tap into when dealing with these small impressionable minds. This is a candid conversation with some colorful language "not too colorful," but is a conversation that will help you put together your own checklist when thinking about placing your child when you have to go back to work or just get some work done PERIODT. If you ever want to get in touch with Trishawn you can find her at: website: www.tfdaycare.com FB: Trishawn's Accredited Family Daycare

In this week's episode we briefly discuss how you can save $$ by determining whether or not you should or should NOT hire a tax pro to complete your taxes for you. You can save $$ by doing your taxes yourself and knowing that in some cases there is even software that will allow you to file for FREE. However, don't get outta pocket, there are some folks that definitely need some additional support and getting a tax pro to help with preparation just may be a good. Listen and see which category you fall into. Don't say I ain't letcha know.

In this week's podcast I share some things you need to keep in mind as you get your documents in order for the 2022 Tax Season. If you want to get your 2021 taxes filed as smoothly as possible there are a few things you definitely need to do to make the process smoother. You most definitely need to go to the IRS website and get a jump on taxes before the season opens. You want to pull out your notice that you received for that 3rd stimulus and you need to be on the lookout for Letter 6419 if you received ANY Advanced Child Tax Credit Payments. I also encourage you to follow ALL the rules your paid preparer gives to you so that you can get things captured correctly the 1st time.
