Welcome to season three of Talking Tina! I’m so excited to be back with you all. This season is going to be a little different—more personal, more reflective. The past year and a half has been an interesting chapter in my life, and I feel led to share pieces of it with you. We’ll be talking about a little bit of everything and, as I like to say, a lot of nothing, too. My hope is that through my sharing, you’ll find something relatable—something that resonates with your own journey. And, most importantly, that together we can see God’s hand in the midst of it all. Thank you for tuning in, and I can’t wait for us to walk through this season together.

In this episode, my friend Matt Schnitzer joins me. Matt and I discuss the development of his nonprofit Barbers for Baja and how the nonprofit supports the communities it serves. Matt also shares his future vision for Barbers for Baja and how we can join their efforts.

My friend Karen Plymell joins me in this episode, and we discuss Living and Leaving a Legacy for the next generation. Karen shares her experiences instilling faith in her children and some of the challenges she faced along the way. She also answers some of my questions regarding parenting and how she supports her children as they raise their grandchildren.

In this episode of Talking Tina, my friend Jessica Willis joins me; she is a single professional woman determined to stay rooted in God. We talk about what it means to be Forever Faithful to God in the mist of deferred hopes, persevering through struggles, and when the current culture tells you, you are missing out, how to continue to remember the truths of God.

In this episode, my friend Mary Mains joins me, and we discuss the topic of grief and loss. Mary shares her experience with losing her beloved husband, Kevin, and how she continues to navigated the grief journey with God at the center of it all. We discuss helpful resources and what not to do or say to someone experiencing loss, as well as ways to be an encouragement to those on their grief journey.

In this episode Martín shares his experiences being raised by women and how women have shaped his life, faith and career. Martín also highlights the importance of making room for women in all spaces and how women are a very important part of God’s redemptive work.

I have a special guest, my big sister Neva. In this episode we share our experience of A Year of Prayer (praying with one another every week for over a year). How our consistency in prayer has helped our connection with God and one another.
