– Repentance can be seen as rebuilding a relationship with the Lord.

– Jesus is baptized and the Father says “Thou art my Beloved Son.”

– John the Baptist speaks of Christ with a “fan in his hand,” who will “purge his floor, and gather his wheat.” This image relates to Christ gathering his people home.

– John the Baptist is clothed like Elijah.

– Why Jesus was baptized.

– The sign of the dove as a witness of the Holy Ghost and an emblem of truth and innocence.

– Luke presents the political leaders during the time of Jesus.
