Talking on Eggshells
Talking on Eggshells
Veritas Culture
Today, people are talking more and yet becoming more divided. Today, not opposing is supporting and not supporting is opposing. We need to stop, listen, listen to understand, and start again. 'Talking on Eggshells" is a talk about the things that people are already talking about, but without the echo chambers. Without the confirmation bias. With informed expression, passion, compassion and, most importantly, a step towards change. After all, the point of communication is change.
Capacity To Care
It is becoming more and more common for people to be criticized for not holding space for everyone. It is also becoming more and more common for people to be encouraged to practice self-care. Misandry, Androphobia and Mansplaining
Misandry means hatred of men but some push back on the use of the term, stating that it’s nothing more than a term created by men to counter accusations of misogyny. Others suggest that people confuse misandry with androphobia and that the latter is valid and more common. Let’s talk about all of it and the use of the term ‘man’ as a modern-age prefix.Support the show
