In this episode, I review the next four pages of Book 1. During these pages, we are essentially a fly on the wall in Odysseus' home on Ithaka, the Manor. We see first hand what Telemachus and Penelope are up against with the suitors. Additionally, we see Athena use her goddess magic to transform herself into Mentes, a family friend who has heard word of Odysseus, all for the ruse of inspiring Telemachus to grow up and become a man of adventure himself.
