The show has good perspective and great guests, but the audio is intolerable. Jeff seems to fade into mumbling frequently, and the interstitial audio is often much louder than the talking. It’s painful to listen.

I love the mix of expert interviews and weekly news review on Mondays (plus links to said articles in the show notes!). Keep up the great work.

Love, love this podcast. I just wish the modarator would speak up. His guests usually sound just fine, but he talks so low and sometimes fades out, maybe leaning back in his chair. Please keep an eye on your levels and we have a 5 star cast.

Jeff makes planning, mobility, and sustainability issues so accessible and engaging. I’m a civil engineer in transportation and truly wish more in my field viewed the built environment the way that planning experts see it. It’s great to hear Jeff’s interviews with such dedicated, forward-thinking planning enthusiasts.

I generally really like the content of this podcast. But there are two issues I see really holding it back. The first being that the host(s) often have very narrow, privileged, or uninformed views in issues outside of their small bubble. The second is that several episodes are in severe need of massive editing. I shouldn’t have to listen through 15, 30, or 50 seconds of silence while the hosts do something else or talk to other people off mic.

Great podcast! It goes into depth on current transit news and current events. It’s super informative, but not too technical either. I love this podcast and so does my non-transit planner wife.

I can’t remember how I found this podcast but it is quickly becoming one of my favorites. I especially like the Mondays episodes. Keep ‘me coming, I can’t get excited when I see a new one come into my feed. The topics are diverse and I feel that they are discussed in a fresh and relevant way, without being preachy.

Jeff does a great job with this. Even though I write about transportation topics full-time, I always learn something new and interesting. A great way to stay on top of the industry's latest. Anyone who listens religiously will become an armchair expert.

This is a great podcast for planners and non-planners alike. The podcast is absolute pro-transit and pro-density, but the host and his guests typically do a good job of acknowledging different sides of planning debates.

I'm a transit planner who really enjoys the podcast even though I find the opening jingle really annoying. A recent episode I really liked was Taming Pittsburgh's Hostile Streets. It was really good at discussing how different government agencies work together. I would really like a free copy of Power Moves as I work to help tame sprawl in another Southern metropolis.

This is a great podcast about transportation issues. Host Jeff Wood is very knowledgeable and has great guests from around the world who share the best ideas about what is working in transit. It's very relevant for people who want to learn about the many alternatives to driving alone in a private car, with real examples of how these alternatives are actually working in so many places.

i am just delving into the world of urban planning and this podcast is fantastic at having discussions that are informative, yet easy-to-follow. engaging conversation, compelling guests, and relevant topics. great job!

Listen, this guy has a knack for explaining concepts in such a way that I can give them to my father, but also in a way that is engaging for me. One of the most recent episodes was about how walkable communities encouraged you to buy less and live smaller, less carbon impactful lives, and this got me completely thinking about how I even go to the grocery store. A fantastic podcast.

I love listening to these every morning and often share them with my friends. The podcast really brings together the broad spectrum of what urban planning is and can be. As a future planner, it's helped me to see what I can do in the future and how broad of a career planning can be. Love listening and keep it up!

Great information and dialogue. As a leader in an emerging southern city, I am inspired by the content and enjoy learning what other transit leaders are doing to impliment change. The podcast is direct and to the point with informative and consolidated action items. Highly reccomend.

I can't wait each week to hear the latest episode. Hosts Tanya and Jeff are both transit experts with tremendous knowledge to offer. Good digest! they chat a bit, but the quality is fine - you are listening in on your most up to date transpo friends, when/where you can't (working, etc.)

While I have really appreciated the quality of streetsblog's reporting, it doesn't translate to the podcaset. The hosts are often off-mike; they ramble through personal stories with little relevance to the listener, and they fail to provide the most basic information about the stories they are supposedly covering. For example, the last podcast on the National Bike Summit doesn't mention that the intent of the event was to lobby congress, doesn't mention the 3 legislative goals or their chances of success, doesn't mention how many lobby visits were made. This does a disservervice to those trying to learn how to be effective in working for change.
