I’ve been listening to this show since it’s inception and I have also listened to others on their network for years. Over the past year I have dialed it back because of all the PC/SJW discussion. I come here to listen and escape while I’m at work and I don’t want to hear that stuff. For some reason or another whatever is going wrong in the world is Trump’s fault. Y’all were complaining about a guy from Quebec aka a person not from this country and it was still Trump’s fault?!?!?!? Get over it already he’s the President. Not to mention the complaining and rants about how a streamer talks while playing games. Have y’all never played online before? I’m not saying it’s right, but it’s nothing new and unfortunately normal. Go back to what y’all do best, playing and talking about video games. Leave the political/SJW stuff out of it.

They've experienced a lot of different people leaving and returning but overall, you can the friendship is always there which leads to fun banter. The games they talk about vary a lot in genre which I enjoy, especially when I havent heard of the game before. Just wish they would put out episodes more consistently or were more transparent about how long a new episode is going to take getting out.

It’s tough to find a non cringey and non “formal” gaming podcast. Talking games delivers on all fronts though, it feels less like a podcast and more like sitting down with your friends talking about video games, which is a warm welcome to me. I highly recommend checking out talking games podcast, easily my second favorite podcast hands down (gotta keep them striving for number 1 ya know?)

Found talking games from talking comics Bobby is a great host and all the other personalities are great as well. I love to listen to get myself into the mood to sit down and dive into some games.

I think the diversity of the cast is what really makes this podcast great. They give informative and fair opinions on new releases and older game alike. Every member of the cast has a great sense of humor and you really get the feeling you are just hanging out with your friends and having a great discussion. Lastly, they easily have my favorite intro/outro music. Would listen just for that!

Lotsa personality with this crew and a nice mix of game genre coverage. Always good current game news and the E3 reactions are really fun. Also, on a technical level the sound is pretty good and consistent.

Do you like listening to podcasts where everyone ends their sentences with a question like sound? Well then this podcast is for you! While Bobby and the crew go in depth into all types of games, the amount of upspeak (the tendency to make your voice rise at the end of sentences so that your statement sounds like a question) in this podcast, is insane! At first it is easy to glance over, but when just about everyone in the group starts doing it (Kelsey,an English major, the major offender) it gets very aggravating. Are you asking the audience a question? Or are you telling us an opinion? Sometimes it's beyond ridiculous to tell what's what. I love the game talk, but it's hard to listen to at times with the amount of abuse the spoken English language gets.

Recently reconnected to the podcast and love the direction. Keep up the great work.

Ever sense jacky left it has went down hard. For that simple reason iv backed away slowly. Use to be alright sense she left tho it's not the same. Go to geek vs geek podcasts they are soooo much better.

Love this podcast--all contributors are great and have tons of personality. I trust their opinions and will get games based on their podcast. I always look forward to new episodes!

I have been listening for quite a while so I figured I would update my review. I used to really like this show before the departure of Rob, even then it stayed pretty decent. But now with the soon departure of Steve it makes this show pretty meh. The insistent corny/uncomfortable back and forth between Jacqui and Justin is tiresome. I really liked the Bobby guy they brought in for awhile, but he is gone now also. Now Bobby Shortle has taken over and never shuts up. Now when the show starts its like the first half an hour is how drunk everyone got and how "crazy it was." I don't mind a little background on each person but not a detailed description of each of their weekends. At least they got rid of the god awful show with 10 guys sitting around drinking and talking. It sounded like a CoD lobby with a bunch of douches bragging about how much they spent on a free to play. I really wish they would bring back the original concept of every other Thursday they talked games for a hour and half.

I've recently started listening to this podcast and it's quickly become one of my favorites. Not only do I get to find out about cool new games, but I also enjoy listening to this group with very diverse opinions have friendly bickering that is quite entertaining. Listening to this podcast also helped inform/influence my decision to get a PS4.

This is the video game podcast I've been looking for! I think the variety of personalities and wide breadth of video game interests are great. I don't play a game without listening to their reviews first. I especially appreciate how you guys talk about how and why games are fun rather squabbling over snobby technical details. Keep up the great work!

This is a great podcast where a group of passionate gamers talk about the most current games and their never ending effort to squeeze in as many hours of playing time as possible each week. Great job guys!

As a big fan of video games this is my go to show I listen too. However be warned their super friendly and inviting nature will make you feel like part of the group and you may start to think of the cast as real life friends. When you realize the are across the country and you can't go get s beer with them after the show you may get sad....and end up drinking on your own.

Found this podcast after finding Talking Comics and listen every Thursday. I love the chemistry between the hosts.

I have been a long time listener to Talking Comics, so when I heard a video game cast was coming I was stoked. After a good amount of episodes, I can say with confidence that this podcast is one you can not miss as a gamer! You come for the games, but the cast keeps you listening. Thanks for an awesome show!

If you love games, you can’t miss the Talking Games podcast. The four hosts: Steve, Justin, Jacqui, and Rob have excellent chemistry, and truly care about what they are talking about. Steve brings a steady professionalism from Talking Comics over to this podcast but I also like that he can be the comic relief with jokes and randomly bursts out in song. Rob exudes a quiet confidence in his reviews, is knowledgeable on many subjects, and I rely on him for thoughts on Nintendo. Justin is the Bob Reyer of Talking Games and that is just the biggest compliment I can bestow. His preparation for the show is unparalleled, and he has a vast knowledge of games that he brings to the table every week. Last but certainly not least, Jacqui is absolutely inspiring and her “Year of Growth” has pushed me to try games beyond my comfort zone. One of the best qualities about this show is how much they care about the listeners and the Talking Games community. In one episode, when talking about Destiny’s Raid, they stressed how if any listeners were having trouble completing the mission or if they needed people to play with, the Talking Games staff would be on call to join their party and guide them through it. The amount of interaction with the listeners is what sets this show heads and shoulders above the rest. Very unprofessional, just hobbyists that have no connection to the game industry. The host frequently forgets the correct name of games and it's obvious they're only casual gamers.

I really enjoy this podcast. It is obvious they are all friends and have great chemistry together. I even laugh at Steve's bad jokes on occasion. I only wish there was someone on cast who could bring in a PC gaming perspective at times.

Sometimes I just want to hang with buddies who play games. This is the best way to do that while working. And Jackie's accent is so pleasant on the ears.

I got into this podcast because I am a big fan of Talking Comics, and find Steve very relateable. I also love video games (actually my first love before I rediscovered comics) so it was nice to find a podcast that was just starting up with an already tried and true format. The cast is not pretentious and jaded like other podcasts, they are not overly sarcastic, and they have a very good chemistry. You can tell they are friends, and it makes you feel welcome.

Came over from Talking Coimcs. Good to hear some historical stuff as well as current gaming info, Can't believe some of the the old games you all have mentioned that I played many moons ago.

I find this show very informative. I think they are really on to something with the multiple host format. I also like the way give multiple views on games.

Best podcast I have ever listened to, really enjoy it. Great host and they are very informative and funny. Listen to them all the time at work and it just makes my day fly by.

Do not hesitate to subscribe to this podcast!! Even if your not a full on gamer this podcast is a great listen, lots of information given by a cast if great people. My favorite podcast, hands down!! The only warning I would give will be to parents with children that may want to listen to the show, there have been a few unnecessary F-bombs dropped so you may want to screen the show before your child listens.

great gaming podcast that I look forward to each week. Only downside is that it highlights game I didn't know about and that hurts the bank account.

I listen to the talking comics podcast and love the fact that they are actual friends so when I heard they were making a videogame podcast I had to listen...I was not disappointed. love the show guys
