TalkBox Kauai
TalkBox Kauai
Jesse Lee Willis
TalkBox is a podcast centered on exploring the challenges faced on Kauai in a post-Covid world. As the economic and social landscape continues to drastically alter, I explore through conversation what new problems are emerging, what solutions should be implemented, and what kind of an example Kaua’i can set for the rest of the world. Technologists, politicians, farmers, and residents from all walks of life provide their unique perspectives on life and where we go from here.
TB-10: Maile Walters
Maile Walters is a Kaua'i girl and founder of FITnancial Fire.  Maile joins the podcast to discuss her ideas behind her business, the connections between body and mind, and the power of building small habits to effect long-term change and achieve financial freedom.  We also discuss the pandemic, the challenges of parenting during the quarantine, and many other topics.  Maile can be found on Facebook @Fitnancialfire and on her website at FITnancialfire.com.

Addison Bulosan - Primary Day
What a great time I had with Addison this weekend.  Our discussion happened to be on primary election day, and the Kauai County Council candidates were cut accordingly from 21 to 14 candidates.  Addison made the cut, so it's on to phase 2!  Enjoy as our conversation cut from the embarrassment of taking complements, why millennials aren't treated fairly, our mutual love of Noah Yuval Harari, being an adult, and much more.  Special guest: my 6-year-old son Koa in the intro.  Good times!
