It's Minority Mental Health Awareness Month!!
On June 2, 2008, July was named Bebe Moore Minority Mental Health Awareness Month!
National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month is observed to bring awareness to the unique struggles that racial and ethnic minority communities face regarding mental illness in the United States.
Join Kiki & Ki as they dive into the reasons why Minority Mental Health Awareness is important, the cultural stigmas around mental health, and provide resources to help us take steps to take care of our mental health.
Key Timestamps:
Quinta Brunson, creator and star of Abott Elementary os officially the first black woman to be nominated for Emmys in acting,  writing,  and outstanding comedy in the same year.
Quinta is also being sued for allegedly stealing the concept.
Jennifer Lewis now has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame
