People often judge us by what they "think" or "assume" they know concerning "our" lives. Some look at us and are envious by what we have or, perhaps, how we carry ourselves. However, they have no idea what is going on in the background. We may be smiling outwardly but on the inside we are a "jumbled mess." There are those of us who are good at "hiding" our thoughts and feelings but that doesn't mean life is any easier for us than the next person. So the next time you wished you were in someone else's shoes or feel like passing judgment on them, try to remember that you don't know what they have gone through or are currently dealing with.

Valentine's Day 2021: Some are women are looking forward to spending the day with their respective partners in anticipation of what the day will hold for them while others are absolutely dreading it. I must admit that it's a wonderful feeling to share the day with your "special" someone; however, "learn" to love the one you're with (YOU) 365 days a year and not focus on one day that you're not "booed up." Love ya!

Today's episode is dedicated to all of our strong men out there who are holding down the fort, no matter how difficult or challenging it is for them. Unfortunately, they are often overlooked and not given the credit they deserve for being our "superheroes", even though some of them prefer to be in the background and don't want to take credit for all they bring to our lives. Because they feel it's what they are supposed, they constantly give of themselves unselfishly. However, in their strength, they have personal "struggles" that they don't share -- not even with their men friends. I want to personally give you your flowers while you can smell them. Not only do I appreciate you but celebrate you as well. I think it's high time we give you the credit you so deserve! ❤️

Love, as Matt Monro sung, "Is A Many Splendored Thing." To find love is one of the greatest feelings in the world, but many people run from it because of fear of being hurt or rejected or letting someone into their hearts and/or spaces or for a variety of other reasons. How would it feel or how different would you life be if you'd just let yourself go and allow yourself to become vulnerable -- all in the name of L-O-V-E?

Today's topic is not only inspired by recent headlines of various types of prejudices but also prejudices that people face in their daily lives albeit social status, financial status, gender status, etc. I'm sure we have all been affected by this in some way, shape, form or fashion whether on a personal level or know someone who has been. This is a global issue that needs to be "fixed" immediately! Let's all band together in love as brothers and sisters to find a resolution for this problem that is “spreading like wildfire.”

In light of everything going on around us now, I wanted to share some of the most happiest memories that I had as a child - that is, the time I spent with my grandparents. I hope that you too can travel down memory lane.

In today's society, there are those who are dealing with depression for one reason or another. I lived with depression for many years; however, it was my secret. If you are feeling despondent or, perhaps, even suicidal, seek help. Know that you're not alone. Please, please, please, whatever you do, don't ever be ashamed of your struggle.
