Yumi & Joseph are onto something great with this podcast. Their friendship and chemistry shine throughout their conversations. Their podcast both celebrates classical music while also calling out the facets of the industry that are in dire need of change. Their conversations together, as well as with their talented guests, have been enlightening to me as an outsider who’s long loved and consumed classical music. Joseph’s laugh alone is more than enough to get you hooked, but when you add in Yumi’s charm and quick wit, you have the recipe for something truly special that’s worth celebrating! Keep up the amazing work; I hope your platform grows more and more with time :)

Yumi and Joe are spotlighting topics and conversations that are chronically ignored or avoided in classical music. Excited to see this project and hopeful that it can help encourage greater dialogue in our field.

So much appreciation to both of you for starting these conversations! I already plan on implementing your one good thing in my studio classes this fall. Your episode with Vijay made me race to home to play music with renewed purpose and all the topics you’ve been covering make me examine everything on my schedule more holistically.
