Trump Derangement Syndrome News Hour
A once-great podcast brought low by terminal TDS. I turned it off for the last time when their guest said that the Butler assassination attempt on Trump was a hoax and unsubscribed right away. It’s a shame but it’s time to put this podcast out to pasture.

Making Nick Fuentes Proud
If the podcast is anything like the magazine, it’s a bunch of Nick Fuentes approved antisemitic, racist Groyper propaganda.
TexAgConservative
One minor complaint
The discussions are very good, but for the love of decorum, can you please get some better theme music than this tinny, jaunty middle-aged blues-billy garbage? It’s like Mike Huckabee’s band and Rush Limbaugh chomping on a cigar; it’s the soundtrack of boomer neoconservatism. Does Pat Buchanan approve? Otherwise you’re doing a very good job.

Paleo con is just another term for RINO
Thank the Lord, I was actually able to listen to these people. These non-interventionalists and isolationists will destroy this country. Venezuela has Iran, Hezbollah, China, and Russia in country actively planning against the United States. to be blind to that is to show fallacy in your ability to critically think. I am not a politician I’m an engineer, but wow, I hope these people never gain power.

What happened to TAC
The latest podcast had a member of Obamas cabinet, and they had 0 pushback! Harry Burger seems like Fuentes with a muzzle. Another review said they need Sohrab back! I second that motion!
The American Way!
Solid content, suboptimal presentation
The convos are interesting, but I struggle to listen since Sohrab and Helen left, since no one in the current cast is as articulate as those two were.
E.g. Jude says “ummmmm” every five words, the new guy keeps chuckling to himself, sumantra pronounces a lot of words strangely, etc.
I hate to leave a 3 star review but the discussion could seriously use more polish.
Certaminis Princeps
Strike two! You're out.
Last week I commented about the clown who thought the renters in CO were threatened more by their landlords than the armed illegal aliens taking over their buildings. This week I think it was the same clown who said Israel was guilty of ramping up the war with Hesbola when anyone paying attention knows the Muslim terrorists have been raining down rockets on northern Israel from territory the UN was supposed to keep de-militarized. Now I can't trust yall anymore. There are many other podcasts that are clown free. This is a sad goodbye. I listened to you every week and shared your podcast on fb and X. No more.

Ditch the intern
Or coach her to stop saying “like” every other word when she speaks. A real downer for a podcast I never used to miss.
RosesFromSender
Never miss it!
So glad the pod is back. Any chance you could do more episodes per week? Or an interview with a print author that would entice more subscribers or just educate the uninformed? I know you all work hard and I’m grateful for this show in its current format. The baby background noises are a joy to hear as well.

More TAC Right Now
I keep checking to see when you first 2024 episode will be released. My husband and I are avid listeners and are now subscribers to the print edition. Thank you for your work.

March 17, 2023 Show: Who owes Whom?
(About 29 minutes in) Reparations (SF & nationwide) & Civil War: 650K blood spilled means nothing to the Affirmative action Americans because they are simply fueled by murders envy and resentment. The blood libel isn’t even enough. Let’s check facts: 1) Criminality has a personal, as well as a societal cost, but let’s look at the economic costs: “The estimated annual cost of crime is $4.71-$5-76 trillion including transfers from victims to criminals and $2.86-$3.92 trillion net of transfers.” (“The aggregate cost of crime in the United States.” journal of economics. volume 64. No. 4) Safe to say that net approximately 3.5 trillion is predominantly funded by White people. 2A) Criminality: Looking at 2021 FBI online criminal database, can you guess who is responsible for approximately 44% of all violent crime in the year in question? Hint: their population percentage is less than 13%. 2B) when it comes to violent crime, is it predominantly intraracial or interracial? For the demographic that commit to plurality of violent crime, the offenses are majority interracial. This is backed up by over 50 years of crime data and holds fairly consistent. •”Three notable findings emerge from our inquiry: (1) racial segregation substantially increases the risk of homicide victimization for blacks while (2) simultaneously decreasing the risk of white homicide victimization. The result of these heterogeneous effects is that (3) segregation plays a central role in driving black-white differences in homicide mortality. These findings suggest the declines in racial segregation since 1970 have substantially attenuated the black-white homicide gap.” (“Segregation and Violence Reconsidered: Do Whites Benefit from Residential Segregation?”. American sociological review. 2019.) 3) this really could be number one, but I wanted to leave the best for last: the great society. The point is best summed up in the book by Seymour Itzkoff, The Decline of Intelligence in America: “In the United States, we have invested our inheritance of wealth and philanthropy in an attempt to dissolve the barriers, to extend a helping hand. The universally acknowledged failure of all these programs, after almost forty years and the expenditure of over *five trillion dollars*, has not dissuaded ideological liberals.? We see the old knee-jerk responses in the present Democratic administration. Ever a familiar refrain: more summer programs for "needy youth," make-work jobs for the urban poor, a few $89,000-per-year jobs for a year, temporary "infrastructure* jobs to repair our city streets. All these in the face of decisive theoretical and experimental evidence that no amount of tax monies is going to change the situation.” (*Emphasis mine*) And the cultural impact, well, we’re still living in it: “ These are a few of the statistics presented, comparing our welfare today with 1963: Violent crime has increased over 500 percent. • Illegitimate births have increased 400 percent. Divorces have increased 400 percent. Children living in single-parent homes have increased 300 percent. Child abuse has increased 340 percent since 1976. Teenage suicide has increased 200 percent. S.A.T. scores have dropped almost 80 points, despite huge increases in support for education. Focus on the Family, Newsletter, May, 1993 What is culture? It is the ways of thinking, living, and behaving that define a people and underlie its achievements. It is a nation's collective mind, its sense of right and wrong, the way it perceives reality, and its definition of self. Culture is the morals and habits a mother strives to instill in her children.” (Dr. William J. Bennett, U.S. Secretary of Education, Report 1993)

Quality Podcast
Quality podcast of a group of four deep thinkers on current events. The four commentators work well together and give each other space to discuss current affairs. This was a refreshing podcast to listen to.

Was Way Better Before Revamp
When this podcast first launched it was an entertaining and enlightening listen. The new hosts are a snooze-fest. I gave it 2 stars because I’m sure politically it is ok but why take a good podcast and make it bad?

Pretty poorly thought out discussions
I lean conservative and try my best to have a wide bit of media to consume. Was recommended TAC as an interesting outlet and after 4 months of listening to this podcast in particular I’m pretty disgusted in the weak level of thought put into this. There’s rarely more than 2 arguments made per episode that whether I agree with the policy proposal or not I feel are well argued or at least have the effects thought out.
add that to the lack of care they have for people who don’t share their view point or are like the and it’s just not worth listening too.

Great National and international news
The articles are good but I have more time to listen while I work around the house to podcasts. Thank you for putting your excellent commentaries about events here.

Great Countercultural Discussions
High quality discussions of the issues of the day from a nationalist conservative perspective. Helen Andrews is amazing.

Poor sound
If your contributors are going to call in they need to have an adaquate device and connection.

Best Political Podcast
The one podcast you need to keep up with America First/MAGA politics
Wife, mother, professional
So glad I found this
Great cadence, intriguing curation of guests, (all of whom seem really at home with the microphone), and insightful hosts who let those guests speak uninterrupted (mostly). When the hosts can’t help themselves they unleash epic rants in the style of Tucker Carlson which wind down to apologetic self-deprecating chortles.
Very serious issues handled with one part journalism, one part fatalism. I can’t get enough of this podcast.
PS. If the sound engineer is reading this, can you adjust the levels so all the hosts are at about the same decibel level? On occasion I have to grab my phone and turn down the volume when one (guy) speaks.

My favorite political podcast
The guests are great. The hosts are great. I particularly enjoy Ryan and Helen’s commentaries.

Yawn
This is insane. Huge fan of The American Conservative and even a subscriber. But to listen to white people talk about racism and how there is no racism is hilarious. Podcasts often bring in guests to discuss and debate topics that the hosts aren’t necessarily experts in...maybe they should have done that when talking about racism. Then the talk of a George Floyd conspiracy theory is ridiculous. Let’s not become the intellectual version of Infowars please.

Where was Jeff Sessions for 40 years?
Jeff Sessions said the job of a senator is to serve the people. Sessions knows every senator serves the lobbyists and incumbents are almost impossible to vote out. The people no longer matter.

Fresh takes, no fakes.
Clear thinking on Trumpism. Guests are relaxed and confident enough in the hosts to share a bit more than “normal”. Coulter and Sessions episode was fantastic. Hope this crowd gets better and better. If only DJT had staffed their administration with sharp minds like this instead of future lobbyists from the Bush School of Government. Helen rocks!

Paleoconservative thoughts
The three hosts engage in informative conversations about promoting “Main Street” conservative thoughts like the magazine. The format of the show is balanced and interesting with a discussion about the news at the beginning, an interview in the second act and the cultural discussion at the end. I have enjoyed the conversations thus far.
The biggest downside to this podcast is the sound quality. Obviously, the COVID-19 pandemic is complicating sound editing for the editors. The interview in the second episode, however, featured echoing that was distracting to the conversation. The volume of each person speaking is also uneven.
