I’ve recently started listening and I enjoy this podcast and the other podcasts I’ve heard from these guys. Thank you guys, keep up the good work!

Just accept Taboo for entertainment and quit analyzing the show and Delaney. It is good fun and beautifully done. The show is MAKE BELIEVE! So, yes he had time and the strength to do what he did to Dumbarton. And, he blew up Stuart Strange because there is something grand about getting even with the villain in the show. We fans are loving the revenge he gets on people. You all take it waaayyy to seriously. Maybe he dumped his sister because she killed her husband, when he did NOT tell her to do so and he had a use for him and it made him mad. He realized that they were NOT the same person because of that. You guys also miss all the romantic clues between Lorna and James. Good lord! I am hoping that those two get together because, the way I am reading it, they have feelings for each other. Maybe you should add a female or very gay man to your podcast so they can teach you about sexual attraction. Or go watch Days of Our Lives. That show does exactly what you see being done here...and its hardcore fans are hooked, no matter how outrageous the storyline gets. THAT is what Taboo really is...soap opera. Escape from the real world. Take a leap of faith and enjoy it!

couldn't find anybody in my close group of friends who were watching this series on FX so I had no outlet for discussion of each episode or he great cast of characters in the show. Then I found this podcast and felt great joy. Love the deep discussion of events and the theories put forth by Roger, Dick, and Gene on what and where it's going story wise. Good job and thanks for all the hard work. Look forward to upcoming take on "American Gods"

Love these guys. They always have an interesting take on Taboo and explore different angles that are fascinating. Plus, the additional "River Rants" segment w Listener Mail is just a fabulous bonus. Check these guys out if you love Taboo like I do!

I have been listening to your Taboo podcast and love it. I acuatlly found it by accident. I usually listen to bald move guys podcast on thing that I am watching. When the promos for Taboo started I was hooked. I noticed that the blad move guys weren't planning on podcasting that show so I had to fine another. I like your preview podcast on the show and that got me hooked. I am planningon watching Westworld when I resubscribe to HBO but I won't do that unitl GOT comes back. I will subscribe to your Westworld on I reup with HBO. Great job.

None of my friends watch Taboo, so this podcast helps me better discover the details and historical details that I would normally miss.

Makes Taboo worth watching!!

I enjoy podcasts that has intelligent discussion with sprinkles of banter. River Rants does not review the episode but invites feedback which can be insightful and thought provoking. The after-show pod discusses major plot points. Overall, a great podcast for FX's Taboo.

I stumbled upon Shat on TV for Westworld, and have followed them to Taboo. They are a great podcast because they don't dumb down their analysis of the shows and assume their audience has some sort of intelligence. They made Westworld much more interesting and are doing the same for Taboo. I never would've stuck with Westworld nor Taboo without this podcast group.

This podcast is great if you want to listen to not only a great review of the show, but also the literary and historical parallels present in the undertones. It was a great find and I'm sad I missed the Westworld podcasts! I may have to rewatch season 1 and listen to the SOTV discussion!

I found these 3 Amigos at the beginning of Westworld. Big D, Gene and Roger are fun, insightful, and know the history of the time to make the viewing of Taboo a more enjoyable show. I look forward to their podcasts every week.

They don't take themselves too seriously. This pod really gets into some hidden levels of the show which will make you want to rewatch the episodes. But they are fair, willing to point out when things aren't working. Not just fan boys of the show. Their Westworld show is awesome as well.

I used to work in an office and would discuss the best TV shows with my cube mates. Now I work from home and the Shat on TV podcasts are awesome as I can still hear that same sort of discussion. Thanks!

I followed these guys over from their West World podcast. They put on an amazing show. The in depth review really helps with understanding the show at a deeper level and highlights the depth and execution of current television. Many times I find the podcast more enjoyable than the actual show.

These three play off each other and deliver serious analysis with a bit of humor mixed in. The 2X week format with a deep dive and listener mail makes it feel like a community.

The Shat on TV podcast for Taboo (and Westworld for that matter) is just like sitting around talking with friends about your favorite show. When you agree on particular points everything is right in the world. When you disagree, everyone else is crazy. These guys are awesome and fun to listen too. Not only that, they are very active and responsive with their audience.

Followed you guys from Westworld, and glad I did. While Taboo is a great work of storytelling, it isn't as impactful as Westworld. Regardless, your podcast is a great accompany piece that makes the show'sexperience all that much better and enjoyable.

I just finished the first recap episode of this podcast and I loved it! I can't say I agree with every point the hosts make but that is part of what makes listening so fun in my opinion. I appreciate the time the hosts take to really explain their views and different points about the plot itself and the attention to historical detail is beneficial in picking apart the plot as well. Taboo itself sucked me in and so did this podcast, I have high hopes that both will continue to be engaging until the end.
