This actual play of Monsterhearts 2 is an utter delight to listen to. The cast bring a humanity to the characters that you'd be hard-pressed to find in actual plays. The characters feel real and you want to know what's going to happen to them. The production quality is also quite good - sound effects are included, but not to the degree that it's overbearing, instead creating a subtle backdrop that works well to help tell the story. This is an excellent show all around.

I’m happy to be in on the “semi” ground floor of this little podcast. A tight-knit group is exploring everything about the awkward teenage years, about feeling different and the pressures a young person feels at the time. ... now couple this with being not-quite-human and you have the makeup for a fun game (Monster Hearts 2) alongside lively personalities playing it for us! The first two episodes set the tone for the small-town universe, then things REALLY get rolling ... or flowing? “Im going to do, like, eight pots” still has me laughing. Kudos!

Outstanding chemistry between a GM and players that easily move between making you laugh hard and wanting to cry. Port Talulah has a bittersweet nostalgia for the time of life that these characters occupy. Excited to see what comes next!
