I Believe in Jesus' Return
Welcome to Sylvan Way and thanks for joining us as we worship Jesus! Description: I Believe in Jesus’ Return | Matthew 25:31–46 What you believe about the future shapes how you live today. In this message, we explore a powerful truth from Matthew 25:31–46: Jesus is coming back—and His return leads to a real moment with a real Judge. Jesus’ return means your life is headed toward a real moment with a real Judge. In this teaching, we unpack: • The King is coming back • You don’t skip the courtroom • Grace always leaves fingerprints • Two destinations, no third option This passage reminds us that faith is not just something we say—it’s something that shows. The grace we receive from Jesus should leave visible evidence in how we live, love, and serve others. Takeaway: The Jesus who saves is the Jesus who will judge. So live today in light of that day. I Believe in the Resurrection
Welcome to Sylvan Way and thanks for joining us as we worship Jesus! I Believe in the Resurrection Description: Most people treat the resurrection like an Easter tradition. Paul calls it “of first importance.” In this message from 1 Corinthians 15:3–8, we walk through the claim that changed everything about everything: Jesus didn’t just die—He was buried, and on the third day He rose again. And Paul doesn’t present it as a private spiritual experience. He names witnesses, points to Scripture, and lays down a challenge: if the resurrection is real, it changes what you believe, what you value, and how you live. We also address common objections and “alternate theories” people use to avoid the resurrection, and we’ll look at why the early church was willing to stake everything on this event. If you’ve ever wondered whether the resurrection is historically credible—or if you’ve believed it but don’t live like it matters—don’t miss this message. The final takeaway will force one question: If Jesus rose, what does that mean for you today? If this message speaks to you, don’t forget to like, share, and subscribe. What the Bible say about Hell
Welcome to Sylvan Way and thanks for joining us as we worship Jesus! What the Bible say about Hell Hell is one of the most avoided topics in the church and one of the most misunderstood topics in culture. But Jesus talked about it clearly, not to manipulate people with fear, but to warn us with love and tell us the truth about eternity. In this message, we look at what the Bible actually teaches about hell, why a just God must deal with evil, and why the reality of judgment makes the cross of Christ so powerful. Hell is not a punchline or a metaphor for a hard life. It is the sobering reality of separation from God for those who reject Him. You’ll also see why the gospel is not merely “try harder,” but God’s rescue mission through Jesus. This message is meant to bring clarity, awaken urgency, and point you to the hope we have in Christ. If you’ve ever wrestled with questions like “How could a loving God allow hell?” or “What did Jesus mean when He warned about judgment?” this message is for you. Crucified, Died, Buried
Welcome to Sylvan Way and thanks for joining us as we worship Jesus! Crucified, Died, Buried Are you a sinner… or a saint? In this message from our Apostles’ Creed series, we look at the powerful line: “Suffered under Pontius Pilate, crucified, died, and buried.” This isn’t just history — it’s identity. When Jesus went to the cross, He didn’t just forgive your sin. He redefined who you are. Walking through Isaiah 53, 2 Corinthians 5, and the trial before Pilate, we explore how the cross proves Jesus is real, sin is serious, and grace is greater. If you are in Christ, you are no longer defined by your past, your shame, or your failures — you are defined by what Jesus has done. Identity precedes activity. The cross changed who you are. Now live like it. Watch and discover how the death of Jesus reshapes your life today,. If this message speaks to you, don’t forget to like, share, and subscribe. Virgin Birth
Welcome to Sylvan Way and thanks for joining us as we worship Jesus! Virgin Birth Did Jesus Really Have a Virgin Birth? And Why Does It Matter? In this message from our Apostles’ Creed series, we tackle one of Christianity’s most challenged and misunderstood claims: that Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. Is this just religious mythology? Is it symbolic language? Or is it a historical, theological truth that changes everything? Walking through Luke 1:26–38 and Matthew 1:18–25, we explore: • What the Bible actually says about Mary and Joseph • Who the Holy Spirit is and what He does • Why the virgin birth is essential to the identity of Jesus • How this doctrine connects to the incarnation, sinlessness, and salvation • Why rejecting miracles creates bigger problems than believing them If Jesus was not conceived by the Holy Spirit, Christianity becomes just another moral system. But if He was, then God stepped into human history and that means nothing in your life is impossible for Him. This message will strengthen your faith, equip you to answer objections, and remind you that the God who created the universe is still working in the impossible places of your life. Watch now and discover why the virgin birth isn’t a side doctrine it’s foundational to the gospel. Where we seek to Love God, Love Others, and Live on Mission. Who Is Jesus Really?
Welcome to Sylvan Way and thanks for joining us as we worship Jesus! Who Is Jesus Really? If we misunderstand who Jesus is, we’ll get everything else wrong—who God is, what salvation means, and how we’re called to live. In this message, we break down what the Bible really says about Jesus: not just a good teacher or a spiritual leader, but fully God, fully human, and fully Lord. Using John 1 and a powerful acronym called HANDS, we’ll show how Scripture proves Jesus is worthy of worship, bears God’s name, and sits on God’s throne. This isn’t myth or tradition—it’s truth that changes everything. If you’ve ever wondered if Jesus is just another religious figure—or if He really is who He claimed to be—this message is for you. I Believe In God, Maker of Heaven and Earth
Welcome to Sylvan Way and thanks for joining us as we worship Jesus! I Believe In God, Maker of Heaven and Earth What do you believe about the beginning of everything? In this message from Genesis 1:1–3, we explore the foundational Christian confession from the Apostles’ Creed: “I believe in God, Maker of Heaven and Earth.” Far from being a blind leap into superstition, the Bible presents the most reasonable explanation for existence: the universe is not an accident, but the work of a living Creator who made all things with purpose and precision. We’ll walk through four key truths: 1. The universe points to a beginning (Colossians 1:16) 2. Beginnings require a cause (Genesis 1:3) 3. Creation shows design and fine-tuning (Isaiah 45:18; Isaiah 40:12) 4. Scripture gives the foundation: God is Creator through Christ (John 1:3) And we’ll see why this truth changes everything: • How we understand God (Isaiah 64:8) • How we view the world (Psalm 24:1) • How we understand ourselves (Acts 17:25) The takeaway is simple: Creation has a signature—and it points unmistakably to God (Romans 1:20). This message kicks off our foundational series, “I Believe,” based on the Apostles' Creed. God is Sovereign and Good – His rule is perfect and purposeful. God is Generous and Just – He provides and pardons. God is Powerful and Protective – He guards and delivers His people. This isn’t abstract theology—it’s a worldview-shaping declaration. Whether you’re wrestling with faith, seeking clarity, or building a firm foundation, this message is for you.
