Sword and Scale is a well produced and well researched podcast that deserves a better recap show than the one put forth by Adam Corolla’s cronies. This feels like The Man Show had a baby with Sword and Scale. If you’re into dudes talking about wives nagging, the perpetrator’s lack of attractiveness, and generally acting like little boys who need to incessantly crack jokes at a lady’s expense, this is for you. Me, I’ll take my vagina and cruise on over to a different podcast. This may have actually ruined Sword and Scale for me.

Tried to listen to episode about the dark web. I had no idea what I was listening to. I know next to nothing about the dark web & even I know you can download the Tor browser from the regular internet. Then they had no idea what bitcoin is. Then I forgot about the subject because they’re off on another tangent? Please don’t waste your time with this garbage.

HUGE fan of sword and scare also nightmares but this is a no go, there’s not that much context behind episodes, i have listened to almost every episode but still don’t even know which episode their talking about :( i love this show but please keep it the way you had it 🫶🏼🫶🏼

Matt does a fantastic job but Ian is trash and he tries to be too funny and it is just silly and ridiculous. Don’t quit your day job Ian. And oh btw stop being so sexist against women over it hope this show finally got cancelled!

Seriously. Ian is terrible in this pod. Matt love ya brother, but you need to find a different cohost. I get the jokes, you’re a comedian, but you aren’t funny at all. And you’re Canadian. Which is a joke in itself lol. Do you even listen to the regular podcast? The questions you ask add nothing and are answered in the main pod.

I loved S&S Rewind when Stef and Matt were hosting. I’ve listened to a few episodes now with Ian & Matt, and it’s just meh! I like Matt, but Ian, I can do without. I’m also not a fan of male dominated podcasts. Having a female cohost brings a dynamic that this podcast is missing. At this point, it’s just “meh!”, no longer one of my go-to pods, which is disappointing.

I usually like this podcast . This episode was wacked! It’s ok to find humor in cases but there is a fine line between expressing the absurdity and being disrespectful .

So good. So funny. Such great banter. A pallet cleanser for sure after listening to S&S. Ian’s voice impressions will always have me in hysterics. The guys really do so well together & I love listening to their takes on such twisted and disturbing topics/stories that S&S brings. Great job, guys!

I was bummed when Rewind stopped. I can’t tell you how great it is that it’s back. I love the reboot. My favorites are always when all 3 guys are there. The dynamic is perfect. I’ve been a fan of S&S since 2014 and I’ll continue to enjoy all forms/spin offs of S&S. Keep it up! It’s awesome.

I tried listening to other comedy true crime podcast and they’re just not funny. But this right here is not only comedy gold. But it’s also about my favorite podcast. I can’t get enough. Thanks for all the hard work and an incredible podcast!!!

For people who are very angry with people who make fun of other people, they do a great job of making fun of people who aren’t from the same “society” they are. Isn’t there a term for people who make assumptions on entire group of people?

I’ve listened to a couple of episodes so far, and I’m loving them. The guys are so funny; they make me crack up so much! I love their sense of humor and hearing what they have to say about each Sword and Scale episode.

If you like Sword and Scale this is the show for you. Bag, Fondler, Boudet, are at their absolute best. This pod is a combination of Faces of Death and the Three Stooges, or CSI and Beavis and Butthead. A must listen for sure.

I was so excited to have Rewind back… Matt & Mike are wonderful! Ian needs to leave his stand-up at the door. It’s not the Ian Bagg standup show. I listened to the first couple, gave it a break so I could come back and listen with an open mind… but it’s a hard No. I don’t even know what the episode is about because Ian is a one-upper of everything Matt & Mike talk about. Matt tries to herd Ian back to the subject but Ian always inserts his bad comedy and voices. Not a fan.

I really missed S&S Rewind. I hate to say this but Ian just doesn’t fit. His stand up comedian vib is distracting and doesn’t flow like Matt and Mike’s do. Let’s just have Matt and Mike.

I love this show! It brings such light to awful stories. The hosts make me laugh so hard that I sometimes forget I’m listening to a podcast about true crime. Please keep it up!

I truly never miss an episode of Sword And Scale or Rewind. I’m so glad Rewind has returned. My only criticism is that I’m not crazy about Ian Bagg when he starts goofing around with silly voices and trying to be funny. He’s already funny, he’s smart and perceptive and entertaining just as he is - he doesn’t need to try so hard to silly it up. I’m hoping he cools it a bit on that as time goes on - it’s better when the guys just talk naturally. PS I LOVE that Mike has been showing up on Rewind!

This podcast used to be informative and a little annoying but worth a listen. Now it just sounds like two guys whining about things they don’t like. I say two guys because I think the hockey guy actually seems ok, but he’s working with two guys that have nothing really to contribute to the original story from S&S. A lot of trying to be funny and hating on different groups of people. Honestly, I felt like I needed to take a shower after listening to the first few episodes because of was just so slimy.

Sword and Scale is a great podcast that deserves a good follow-up show with updates, expert opinions, and maybe some unreleased clips. This show is none of that. It is 3 guys trying desperately to be funny and mostly failing with forced laughter, griping about “haters and trolls”, and basically very little to do with the original episode at all. Three people make a crowded podcast to begin with and when it’s three guys who find themselves way funnier than they are, it comes across as filler for a podcast network money grab. Don’t waste your time if you want actual bonus content about the S & S show, I’m sure they have saved that info and placed it behind a paywall.

Sword and Scale is so raw and dark and I love that mike says what most are thinking. The opposite of that would be the Rewind show. And it works! Fondelier and Bagg are a great combo. Their voices, their jokes and the conversation flow well and it lightens up a very dark subject without offending (at least me anyway).
