The Hornets returned to the field in 2021 and had a typical Alabama State season, they finished 3-3. They did find their future at quarterback in Ryan Nettles and Ezra Gray had a huge game on TV against Jackson State. Their defense kept them in games but their lack of consistency on offense and special teams kept them from taking the next step. We will discuss their season here.
