Welcome to the London Rum Trail podwalk. The first ever podwalk on rum and London. This journey will take to you historic and present rum landmark sites. And all stops along your rum trail will provide the opportunity to experience London’s rum culture. Note that some stops are better (aka you should!) via other transportation than on foot. You can walk through Mile End Park, following the A1205 road going south. Just before Burdett Rd turn left into B140. Fancy another bus ride (11m)? You can take Bus 277/D6 at Stop Y St Barnabas Church and hop off at Stop MG (St. Paul’s Way) and walk 2min. Approx 4,5 miles taking you alongside the river Thames going west to old London. Walking through historical London docks with the old merchant houses towards the Tower of London towards Blackfriars. Again, fancy to take a shortcut? Start at DLR Westferry station to take the DLR to Tower Gateway. From there it is the Circle (yellow) or District Line (green) to Temple Station stop.
