In Season 1 episode 2 of Survivor Series: The Cancer Chronicles, we sat down with a long time friend of Cherry, and new found friend of the show, Winteer Sancho-Joseph. Winter was diagnosed with Leukemia in January of 2013, when she was just 20 years old. She goes into detail about how she was diagnosed, having to get bone marrow transplants, getting rid of the cancer only for it to come BACK in her eye, and more. She dealt with all of that on top of being a young parent to a 5 year old son. Her story taught us what being a fighter looks like, and has motivated us to fight for the betterment of our health.
