At 16, 50 years ago, my first boss was an alcoholic. My 3rd and 4th bosses were an alcoholic and an addict to nose sprays. 30 years ago I was boss to a Cocaine addict. Wish this podcast had been around for me then.

As a mother of an addict, this podcast helped me understand I am not alone. I have been on this hamster wheel for along time with my son. Matt and Ryan reminded me that it is up to my son to find his way to sobriety, and up to me to not lose myself while he is finding himself. Thank you ❤️

Well done! I wish i had this podcast 10-15yrs ago! I lost my husband @ 56 in Feb 2024 to alcoholism. I realized all the lying I did for him and the “weight”on me and our 2 kids. They are 19 and 23. I worry about them. I feel more prepared for what could happen. Thank you!

With family who suffer with addiction to alcohol and drugs, I have already learned so much and have been able to put some of what I've learned to use. Thank you for creating this valuable podcast! I am a huge fan of the Hammer and Nigel show and have heard y’all’s conversations and was excited to learn about this podcast. I guess “excited” is a weird word but I need this in my life as my boyfriend, who I love, is an alcoholic. He is the best person when he is sober or casually drinking but when he has enough to go to the dark side, he is a completely different person. I hate him when he is in that state.
