My theory is that if we lead our life listening to our gut/intuition/internal compass (or what have you), we wouldn’t feel the need to put so much emphasis on titles, careers, cars, or things, we would be confident on our own before and after what are essentially add ons. Because it won’t be these things that make us who we are. It won’t be Bob, the builder, but rather Bob, who builds. I know it might sound silly and by no means do I mean to suggest that we can’t take pride in our position as a CEO, business owner, or leader. These can be wonderful achievements, but they are not what makes a person wonderful. You choosing to do what you do because you love them or feel called to do them, that’s where it’s really at. More importantly, that’s where you’re at and that’s what will give you a fulfilling life.

For my first episode, I wanted to focus on the importance of transparency and essentially keeping it real. Also essential, the quality of our environment. Is it supportive to us? Is there room/space to grow? Do we feel inspired or discouraged? All of these things make all the difference in the trajectory of our life, in whether or not we will be successful. And success, another thing, is something for us to determine. For one person's idea of success might not be ours while both being absolutely valid (if we're keeping it real). I implore you to peel back the layers, really get to digging, and uncover your beautiful self. Your life will be far more fulfilling when you take to your calling. Big love, Souvany P.
