On November 20, 2019 this industry lost a legend. Jake Burton shaped snowboarding to what it is today. From redesigning the snowboard to creating competitions that grew large enough to put snowboarding in the Olympics. James started young as a Boy Scout and soon realized how much that path of life would benefit him. He climbed in ranks as he summited peaks. James has been hiking and adventuring in the New England area for years. It wasn't until after college at Tufts, where James would embrace trekking at it's fullest. A year and a half ago, Caleb embarked on a journey that would change the course of his life. He finally got his license and he took every opportunity to climb. Now, a year and a half later, he has done 30 first ascends with his latest, Mount Massive. From what we can find, he is the first to ever rock climb Massive.
