The first episode is exactly what you would expect, broad exegesis of issues and parsing how biblical studies must be done properly, told through the prism of how his faith evolved. JB is great when it comes to making the complex understandable.

I’ve been a fan of John Bergsma for a few years now. I’ve seen him on various YouTube videos and heard him on various podcasts. He has a way of distilling complex Scriptural passages and applying them against biblical history with simple explanations without dumbing them down. Tough balancing act that he does better than most.
